How do you feel about AI's being created?

So you're against things that are designed maliciously? I feel like that applies to most people.

Okay. I'm not sure how well that represents AI in its current state, but okay.

 

Its kind of a hard concept for me to really think to deep on. I'm not like extremely smart about coding, but how much can AI really self develop to a point where it can harm us? As much as I know computers and AI/robots can only do as much as we allow them right? If anyone can break it down barney style that'd be nice.

 

I think it's super interesting. Might take a lot of jobs, but hopefully replace those with job opportunities within the field.

 

I’m quite exciting for the development in AI’s personally. As a means to an end they can be quite helpful. However I’m sure that once hacked and used as a weapon they can be very powerful too.

 

The idea is scary, but would move our progress to stagnant to exponential. If we are to colonise our solar system we need technology like AI.

 

I guess to a point they would be okay, but then again, it would really take away a lot of jobs for the lower field workers. So, that could be a really bad thing as well. What if robots take over all the jobs, and no human being is left working? How would they support their families, etc?

 

It's probably scary for a lot of people now, especially older generations because it is going very fast. But I believe that the newer generations are born into it all and it just seems normal to them.

I have no problem with AI, most AI is very intelligent and can probably help us resolve so many different things there isn't really much of a limit

 

How are they scary? Please elaborate. Were iPhones scary? Internet? Let's actually examine those technological advances. I see artificial intelligence as another leap to technology. The only thing that makes technology advances scary are the people that controls them. Technology itself cannot do anything if they are in good hands of the people that have them.

I’m hoping all AI performs like C3PO. Moving forward realistically though I still say we have a lot of time.

I'm okay with it. It makes life easier. I think people are just scared of the improbabilities
