Would like Sythe & Mala to handle this flamedog report

If you would be so kind to take some time out of your days to read the below reports(Mala you'll have to read Wortels, mines private); I would be greatly appreciative, I'm pretty sure Sythe staff are not grasping how the term lifetime license works and what it means in business to sell a lifetime license to a product. He protected himself with no terms and conditions or even the right to modify the license, and sold it as "lifetime" - The product is still the same aswell. We also have violated no terms or anything to render the license invalid, making it completely valid still. That alone should of assured we won let alone the other arguments.

This is literally what I said aswell on the reports ^^^

 

How dare you to select hand-picked judges to review this matter.

I went into this report with zero backup; in fact, I've not pointed anyone to these reports in order to have a say in my favour. Instead what you've done is put your friends up against me and cause havoc because you will no longer receive my autobumper services.

Net result: free bumps for your 50+ threads since nov. 2017. What the heck I've given you EpicNPC and RuneServer forum support for free. You were the only one having that.

It's so sad you bring this up because its simply not true. Other threads will take top position. Yet your threads will move down to page 2 and beyond. Other bumpers will do the job, perhaps even customers from me who think $0.075-$0.15/day/thread is worth it. However you twist it, traffic is only being diverted to other threads with similar services.

And this bit directed to @SellerMan:

You Ask a retired mod @malakadang to review the matter. Yet you forbid another one to comment. Seems to me you only want your friends to speak up.

Let me make myself clear @Divine you are not allowed to go beyond the staff and ask for Sythe's opinion only. If you do not respect the staff team's views / responses, then don't use our courts as a way resolve your reports.

You will be infracted for wasting staff's time if this continues. If you need to speak to Richard privately, do so by PM'ing / Emailing him.

Here is the exact wording from him on his thread on my date of purchase - I had staff go back and pull the edit history.

Pricing: $1 per thread/per month or $50 lifetime. Application is provided 'as is'*

- Supports MacOSX/Windows/Linux (basically anything with a browser since the bumps are handled by the server)
- Supports bumping on a set interval, including but not limited to: every 15 minutes, every hour, every 8 hours or every day.
- 2FA supported! Even still, I advise to use a bumping account since this is 'third party software'.
- Supports bumping on Powerbot.org and Sythe.org. Other forums are currently not supported. Possibly, in the future, more forums may be added when need arises.
- You can use different accounts for different threads, through a simple system of binding threads to a particular forum account.

* Bugfixes are part of the service. I will do anything in my power to keep this autobumper functioning properly.


After Your Purchase
Once you have purchased a license (by contacting me on Sythe or Skype), your account on Sythe AutoBumper By Flame will be activated and the autobumper will become active. If you have not already done so, register an account there and add your threads and forum accounts to the system. Anyone is able to manually bump their threads using the application as well, but autobumping only becomes active after purchase.

Notice how he changed it to state a time it expires? He modified it I imagine to argue it was not lifetime, luckily I took pictures of it before hand.


I mean everything you could want to establish it as a license is there, He directly says bugfixes are part of the service and I quote "I will do anything in my power to keep this autobumper functioning properly" - That establishes he's liable for upkeep of it.

Once you have purchased a license" -He himself directly states what he's selling is a LICENSE in his thread on the day I bought it. - Establishes he was selling a LICENSE NOT an agreement/service.

& he's now been modifying his site to potentially hide evidence.

Ontop of all that I'd also like it to be taken into consideration that this application has been in use for over a year without issues, its only after he got greedy and wanted to gouge us sites a ridiculous sum of money that he started to backtrack that he sold a "license" and that it was "lifetime" keep in mind that this is pure greed.

Greed can be worked with, but his prices(I'm sure you read the other thread) are so outrages none of us lifetime license users can pay it.

Even now before you've ruled R2pleasent,myself, lime, Kaii have already realized if you don't rule in our favor we are going to have to all buy custom ones.

Software Services

Considering he sold it word for word as a license, said he'd do upkeep and bug fixes, sold it as lifetime, left us all with it for over a year than tried to charge us astronomical price, changed his site to hide evidence, and this will harm a lot of the market activity because half the site(literally) cannot bump anymore, I hope I've provided you enough to overturn and rule in our favor.
