[DENIED] Remove the SFA section

Its been quite some time since the section was used as intended. Moderators in some capacity or another have been trying to revive the section for more than a year.

There have been times where the forum has went without replies for weeks, until the next person trying to spam for post count comes across the forum.

Almost all new posts in the forum fail to abide by the guidelines outlines in the sections stickies (with @Shredderbeam and @Dalpra being exceptions):
THERE ARE STRICT RULES IN THIS SECTION - Read before posting to avoid a forum ban!
SFA is meant for an INTELLECTUAL discourse


I think in @Shin 's new forum layout already has it being removed, but we don't have an accurate timeline of when that is to be implemented (that I know of), and based off of Roary's attempts in the past it might never happen.

 

I think that this would be a wise idea, although the antiquity of the website would be questioned in that it has been here since the beginning... I haven't seen a valuable discussion there in a long time.

With that being said there still is quality content present..

 

@Tyler I would just personally stick with Forum Redesign and perhaps see what shin says about the idea anyways, he wants it removed, idk if it is proper to be removed right now, I do agree that it is sort of a lost cause right now, so ya throw it under the bus... support.

Support. This section has become just a hive for those planning to scam quit to get free post count as you can literally respond with anything. Most responses aren't even really "responses", and as you stated, the section is dead.

The most recent post in the thread at the bottom of the first page of the SFA section was made in December 2017

Starting from the bottom of Sythe just scrolling up, these are all of the sections that have threads just as old, or older than the SFA section on their first page:

I agree the SFA section isn't 'being used as intended', but one could argue most of the sections on this site aren't being used as intended when no one is posting anything. I don't think it's fair to single out this particular section when there are plenty that are just as dead / abandoned.

 

This suggestion has been denied, as it falls in Shin's rework.

Once / if the rework does take place, all of these suggestions that basically duplicated threads will be handled.
