Sinks scammed my account for 150m

Hello,

I would like to report sinks for scamming my account. This guy I trusted implicitly and had done alot of work on my account and was in the process of working on gaining 90 attack through NMZ (this service was agree for and paid 3 days ago).

Yesterday he messaged me telling me that he must make me read this sythe article "to protect himself" to which I was abit confused about, he had never made me aware of the article before and only yesterday evening did he say about it. He mentioned that I should remove my items from my account as he wont be held responsible for them if they are gone, which I thought fair enough but I trust this person as he has done over 300 million 07 in work for me and was the person to sold me the majority of the GP on the account.

What a bad mistake this was. I log on after work today to fine my whole bank has been emptied. Now after rereading the article I was sent. reference here: Important Rules Regarding Skill Training and Refunds

The rules in this case were NOT followed.

- "Prior to the start of a service, the service provider MUST inform the customer that any valuables should be removed from the account. Failure to follow this rule may be grounds for a TWC, market ban, or further consequences"

I was not informed prior to the service, I was informed during it. Conveniently the day before my account gets emptied.

- "An explicit refund and returns policy must be defined by the trainer and agreed upon by the buyer (in writing) before services are rendered."

This was never agreed upon.

- "In order for a policy to be enforced, the trainer must ensure the buyer has read, understood and agreed to said policy."

This was agreed that I had read it but only after the service had been going for over a month.

I am extremely disappointed that someone that I thought could be trusted on this website (which unfortunately is full of shady people) turned out to be one of the people that I couldnt trust.

I will post screenshots of the conversation with sinks, If you are like me and it happens to be way to convenient that only yesterday he says that I must agree to the terms posted in the above article before the next day (during which he was supposedly working on the account) was hacked.

Sorry for the long essay but I have read some other articles about this seller which seem to have backed him. So I will continue giving other information that I deem to be useful.

Sinks and I had agreed that he would provide a screenshot whenever requested and that he would screenshot that xp that he achieved before logging off. This system worked and a screenshot was sent for the last 12 days although my last communication with him was 7am this morning after a screenshot request OUTSIDE of NMZ wearing the gear to train there.

Conveniently included in the items most recently sold on the grand exchange were the items worn in NMZ (although some of these items are the most expensive on the account) - tassets, prims etc.

I hope that an admin will read this and not give me "you were told to take the items off" as this excuse is wearing thin when I was told yesterday mid service with a guy that has been on the account for over a month.

Do you have a picture of you agreeing to not remove your wealth and do you have a picture of him agreeing he'd go on with the service even if you refused to remove the wealth? Besides that, how can we be sure you didn't remove the gold yourself? You basically kicked yourself in the nuts there, so unless you have explicit proof of him taking the gold off the account I'm fairly sure we'll never get somewhere with this report.

 

I can provide pictures of that, you are saying im not even entitled to a refund for the remaining skilling or anything seeing as the guy just wont reply to me anymore?

Imgur - Him saying he doesnt mind the items being on the account if i am comfortable, which at the point i was. why wouldnt I be? I had been working with this guy for months? Yet it was only yesterday he brings this up and hires workers to work with him and the next day I get scammed?

This was sent to me on request at 7am this morning. (which i request every morning before work)

 

Well you won't be entitled to a refund from him if you took the gold off the account yourself. Step into my shoes for a second and think in facts. He warned you to remove all wealth > you didn't > okay, but now you're accussing him of taking all the wealth off the account, fine.. but where is the definitive proof?

 

How am i supposed to provide that.

It is also pretty suspicious that he didnt reply to me for over 5 hours while this thread was waiting for a reply and within 5 mins of you siding with him he replies?

 

Well, yesterday i tell him my t.o.s.

Why would i also hire 2 workers and scam the say day.. I told u the whole situation, about workers and everything. i even gave u a screenshot of xp gained and u think it was my worker on account, ur a sad extorting kid like 50% of sythe

What reason do i have to try and "extort" you?

we were working together and the reason i didn't ask for a refund is because I trusted you.

 

I'm gonna ask someone smart to help in this report. Meanwhile please sit tight, if you feel the urge to bitchfight please do so through Skype.

Scammed me aswell, service incomplete too. This guy needs to be booted off sythe. If it was like 500m+ on the account i understand. But for 45-50m including the service fee is a bit petty. Will be going through the chat logs and osb screenshots of my bank

Including services if you can read + it was 5 mins apart got the time stamp don't exaggerate with 2 hrs ( just shows you got no indication of time) , Anyways,I will be making my own thread with the screenshots.

 

@sinks With the other scam report coming to light, is it possible your workers you've just recently "Hired" are corrupt?

Aside from that, you are responsible for the refund of the remaining XP/Service that has not been completed.

 

There is absolutely no way workers have anything to do with it, work was done by me

i have about 5-10 more screenshots of that.. let me know if more is needed. I will calculate the xp that wasnt done for both as well

 

@BorgaRS There is no way we can prove anything was, or was not taken off the account.

@sinks Please let me know when you have calculated the XP that was not done for both, and have came up with the refund. Please also include the calculations you rounded up so we can make sure everything checks out.

 

I will not refer to ryutin's complaint but as for mine.

Screenshot 1 was already posted by yourself.
Screenshot 2 was already posted by myself and was the suspicious one you sent me with no pots or money in coffer outside of NMZ.
Screenshot 3 is over a day old and is before you even hired workers as far as I am aware.
Screenshot 4 is again even older

 

I hope that with multiple scam reports coming forward that a small refund on a part of a larger service being provided does not stand for grounds to have DNT removed?

i got 2m left for borga which was dealed at 8gp/xp meaning 16m.

i got 3.4m left for ryutin which was dealed at 5gp/xp meaning 17m
