Disallow moderators , admins, sectional from accepting there own suggestions.

@A Broken Man Could you link me some of the suggestions you believe should be approved and moved for voting? I'll go through them today and move the ones that need moving.

 

The threads you have linked all require some work and effort from the PR and Sythe/Matthew, these aren't suggestions we can approve/take to a poll, Sythe is aware of the suggestions and will implement them as he sees fit, the average staff member cannot progress those further.

As for staff approved staff threads such as (Allow staff to ban evaders when caught) this is a simple rule change, or staff rule change which can be implemented with majority of vote which is why it goes to voting/is approved and voted on.

All these are easy to implement and are helping the community move forward with information/references. The threads you're linking and saying aren't getting enough attention even though they have lots of support are not easy to implement, while they have lots of support we cannot do anything to it.

Most the time we will ask an Admin/Sythe if we can implement something and he will tell us to make a suggestion to see if anyone has objections/improvements rather than looking for support.

So as far as this thread goes, no support, a mod should be allowed to approve their own suggestion if it is helpful and has a few supports/little suggestions for improvement.

 

The moderation team is not required to go to the community for input regarding their suggestions and it is not a prerequisite to even consult the community.

In fact we also have our own subforum for us to talk about the communities and our own suggestions seperate and away from the community.
