Staff are doing fine, there’s no need for mini-mods just send in an app for the moderator position

 

You can't search for ban evaders as staff. This would be considered policing as it goes against the court stance, and you would be abusing your staff powers.

Perhaps user group was the wrong word. This has been going on for months already (years if you want to include yousuckv2's ip audit checks), its a subsection in the discord. I'm not advocating for a new rank, there should be no recognition besides having access to the discord channel on the official Sythe discord.

The extent of the perks is two highly vague questions that can be asked before making a post about a potential ban evader. I didn't think this would be popular and I definitely could have explained it in more detail in the thread but still wanted to try. This can be closed

They wouldn't be mini-mods because mods are not allowed to do such thing.

Several moderators have been warned by an admin to stop catching ban evaders. We are quite literally told to look the other way even if we're certain someone is ban evading and have proof of this. The only time we are allowed to stop ban evaders is when regular users report them to us with sufficient proof. We, as staff, are supposed to hand users another chance to return clean to the community even if they have recently scammed.

Please explain. You were one of the admins I admired as even in your resignation letter to the community you showed us the numbers of how many users you have banned. No doubt a couple hundred of them were ban evaders catched by yourself, how were you able to do so?

 

Then go mod on a site that lets you do things you want to do if you don't like it

 

I had to make sure this wasn't a @bus369 suggestion after reading it over. Just apply for mod if you want to be Sherlock Holmes on Sythe.org.

 

Support. I have close to 100 reports under my belt and would call myself a veteran in this field of expertise. Trust me in saying that its currently a pain in the ass to try and track ban-evaders as all one can do is search for matching public information.

Got to point i knew posting characteristics and patterns and key words to give myself an elevated % chance of being right more often. It was efficient
