I'm not really sure how sensitive the personal information he released on Tyler was, but if it had to be done, then its well-suited and was something pretty important.

Find it stupid as well. If people get banned you dont strip them off of other stuff as well (unless it is a scamming ban, in which you can strip them of tradeable miniranks).

As you may all know, this wasn't the decision of the whole team.

I agree this is 100% BS as he deserved every bit of the award, no matter what. The community voted for him as a more than ideal candidate for the Month and I believe it should stay that way. He was rewarded for that month, and anything that happens afterword shouldn't affect the initial outcome. It is indeed sad to see something like this happen and im very apologetic to the Community for this mishap. I personally think publically announcing a decision like this is highly unprofessional and borderline humiliating to @Seraphic

Remember that even though CDT is in new leadership, the team is working hard to work out kinks and continue on the new journey with its new set of individuals. With only a couple veteran members, we are trying quite hard to keep things rolling in a forward motion.

 

Because it isn't a discussion, it's an announcement.

People are free to disagree but there are plenty of things that happened during September and the days following which lead to this decision. I doubt you want them all posted publicly if you already think this is harsh. His ban is in no way the only reason, just the latest on a list of others.

 

Everyone keeps saying the community voted for seraphic. No i didnt vote for seraphic .. john? i voted for scotty he is clearly more deserving.

To whom ever said to discuss this keep this in private is wrong. The reason to publicise this announcement is because some of the communty voted for him so they deserve to know. Im always going to agree with having the cdt more open.


Seraphic idk what he did to deserve motm, he seems rude to me.
Even though i dont really know or like seraphic. This was a bad mistake cdt. How dare you strip someone's achievements. How long is he banned for 6months? Tbh thats a big deal. But i dont agree you remove things. There have been countless banned members over the years come back and through dnt system they keep their rewards etc? Dot they? They keep their things unless to repay scams. So this is a wrong decision. Did tyler have a part in the removal? Why was this a discussion that was had in cdt. YOU ALL VOTED FOR HIM. You guys thought he was so good and was worthy.

Im half and half.. i dont really care. He gained a reward for his time on the forum, his actions after shouldnt represent his good, although he didnt deserve it in the first place so i agree with the strip.


Side note you definitely have to give second place the reward or thats bs. Scotty deserves his reward.

 

Giving it to second would trigger a lot more people, trust me.

 

Who is second? Buyacc? If the second person was deserving and you want to strip seraphic you need to award someone else for their efforts or give it back to seraphic for that month and leave it as. It's insensitive to remove it from someone for their work in a month, and then to not give gratitude to the next person thats a full on facepalm.

 

Half of CDT didn't even know about this until we read this post (Including the other leader)

 

So one ofthe leaders and two members decided yeh lets remove it. Perhaps we should of asked the community if he is worthy of removal considering it was the community (not me)that voted him in.

 

dont get banned and you wont have it taken off you... like if you go to prison you loose the libations you had before
