How did you start watching Anime?

the first anime I every watched was rugrats, been hooked ever since!

 

I might have to re watch Rugrats, that shit was great!

 

Probably the most common way 1990's american kids got started- Toonami and Pokemon. I think Dragonball was the first one I ever saw, or DBZ

 

I also started watching anime through Toonami years ago. However, I didn't watch it much after Toonami was cancelled back then. Recently about a year ago, I was really bored and I decided to watch shippuden. Never looked back and now I have 31 titles and counting Currently deep into 'Monster'

 

I didnt.

 

First time was Dragonball. I was so interested in dragonball and the moment krillin died by king piccolo underling. I was shocked and wanted to know how goku will feel and he won't stand a chance against them (goku was the same strength as piccolo during that period). then watched dbz and finished it and haven't watch anime for years until my i came by and saw "death note" till then i was hooked on anime and it made consider that anime is better then tv series and movies.

naruto/hagaren/one piece/yuhaku/digimon/gach bell along time ago

 

I first started watching anime when a friend of mine recommended me to watch Attack on Titan, so I decided to check it out on netflix. Then I checked out Sword Art Online, then Fairy Tail, and just kept on checking out more anime and it just kinda grew on me.

 

My friends got me into watching Anime.

my whole family watched it, naturally i got hooked too.

 

I watched Pokemon and Digimon when I was young (I prefer the digi).

But I didn't really get into exploring and watching a lot of anime until I was older (like 7 or 8 maybe?). Back when Toonami first aired on cartoon network and played DBZ. So I guess DBZ is what really got me into anime.

 

Back middle school when bleach was relevant, and it was airing on TV I just happen to find it while skipping through channels, thought it was great started reading some of its manga and that was that.

 

strawberry panic was full of lesbians, i liked that, I wanted more.

 

Pokemon and Dragon Ball are probably the first ones because they were on TV before school

 

All my friends did and I sort of just caught onto it.

 

I started by watching Naruto, and it expanded after that.

Started with Naruto, then Dragonball Z, then Pokemon. Have loved anime's ever since.
