#Unban Elite Dust

Hello,

We are trying to raise awareness to our friend who was banned based on his experienced social engineering skills.

I feel that by unbanning Elite Dust, he can social engineer and using his professional white hat hacking skills in order to get rid of scammers and ban evaders out of the Sythe community.

Although he has stated that he has been trusted with over $75,000, he has also been trusted to find a team to find bugs for Sythe RSPS out of his own kindness. I feel that he has and will do a lot in order to make Sythe RSPS the best server out there.

John has attempted to scam maxed main rentals multiple times but never had to pardon for the offence and only got issued a TWC so I do believe that it is equally right for Elite Dust to get issued a TWC. After all, Elite Dust has gotten staff permission to ban evade whilst John sucks up to staff in order to get away with ban evasion.

I do believe Elite Dust should get a TWC. Maybe even a TWC which is appealable in 3-6 months rather than staying banned. I do feel this would allow him to gain back a positive reputation as well as being kept a close eye on in order to ensure he doesn't do anything bad.

Hey leave John outta it but yes Chad's a good dude. I was one of the ones shitting on him in Discord when he first joined and I didn't know him but now that I've got to know him + done business with him I don't believe he's a threat to the community any longer.

He helped me out when I was being hacked over and over as well. He basically had full control of my computer (I don't know shit about computers so I just did whatever he told me to including shit in command prompt)

Dude knows a fuckton about computers/exploits and wants to use it to help Sythe rather than hurt it

 

Didn't he convince @Jason to leak the SL? Or was it the other way round.

not sure/would have to go back and look and even then we operate as a unit and don't tend to single out a staff member so it probably wouldn't be shared to begin with

 

I'll give you a hint it was an admin and they had Chloe lock it so they wouldn't look biased

 

So here's a few things:

• There was an entire conversation about what to do as we knew it would be a "problem" i.e. a negative reaction
• I did not make the final decision, however the decision was indeed made
• I stated I would not lock it as I tend to avoid things with dust after he asked me to do so + out of my own preference
• Chloe ended up being the moderator to lock it after I told a sectional not to due to a global having a higher role

Don't be some passive aggressive dick with me because your thread got closed as you were actively advertising for trades with a banned user. Want to work with a banned user? Go ahead, we do not care, but you will be held liable if something goes wrong. Want to advertise and actively put sythe users in contact with said user for trades? We do care. Run your own shop and buy your gold directly from a banned user and avoid actively advertising for contact with the individual.

This isn't some new thing, there was a reason Dragon Dyce was not advertised on Sythe when the owner of it was banned from Sythe. This isn't some new precedent so chill out.
