This is a good project. which has got a lot of attention. This is great for crypto in general and hopefully it will lead to more people being a part of the Cryptospace.

 

bitcoin cards have been around, but that isn't ideal if you don't hold bitcoin or have ethereum holdings :/

Why post in a forum if you don't want to hear other people's opinions?

If you simply want people to be as hyped as you about something your interested in, don't post it on a discussion board. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and if anything it's better than hearing just one sided opinions if people are to invest money. They need to hear all sides of the story to make a well informed decision. Especially when money is involved.

I have heard his opinion multiple times, that's why I just said it's getting tiring reading it everywhere now. I wouldn't say I'm "hyped", didn't even know about this project until Scotty told me.

I agree though, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, that's why I replied with my opinion in the first place .

Several key differences between TKN and your run of the mill BTC card. TKN gives users incentive to hold it due to the unique burn properties upon redemption it has that give up your stake in the fee contract and any future proportion of profits earned. While BTC cards let you spend at any VISA/MC enabled merchant similar to TokenCard, what is fascinating about TKN is that it allows a user to freely spend any ERC20 token as they please. This opens up the network effect significantly as it expands the real world use of the entire Ethereum ecosystem as a whole instead of just 1 token. It also allows you to customize what % of your given ERC20 assets you'd like to make your payments in so it gives you a lot of freedom to pay as you see fit (ex. 20% ETH, 40% GNO, 15% GNT, 12.5% REP, 12.5% RLC to pay for that $5 Starbucks coffee, all behind the scenes.) The 0.5% fee taken at every transaction by the TKN contract is essentially a real life data feed of which ERC20 tokens are being used most frequently for every day payments. It's quite an elegantly thought out system.

 

So basically its a btc card but usable for multiple crypto's at once?
