My post in Where did [name here] go? was removed and I was told to make a report so I can only assume that Duel Arena scamming is in fact against Sythe rules; otherwise my post wouldn't have been removed and i wouldn't have been told to make a report

I'll keep this report simple:


If the mod dealing the report needs proof that Milotic is Basement I will be happy to provide evidence but I would prefer not posting it publicly.

 

What is the exact scam? Your post was removed because duel arena scamming generally is not against sythe rules

 

Here's a detailed explanation of exactly how the scam was done - "That's not how OP was scammed. Changing a rule has nothing to do with the popular scam techniques. It has to do with names and other factors. I'm not sure how familiar you are with staking, but how it works is one party challenges another and then sends a trade request. The other party accepts the trade request, then both proceed to show their inventories (28 vials). As so they both know the other isn't trying to pull anything fishy. After both are content with the findings, the party who accepted the trade request then accepts the duel request. As so there is no time for any shady business, as in neither person has any opportunity to pick up an item for example unknowing to the other person. But the problem is, is that the person who sent the trade request and the person who sent the dueling request are not the same person. But it's nearly impossible to tell as these people have virtually identicle names. For example Redlion23 and RedIion23. In-game, these names are indistinguishable. So Redlion23 shows an inventory full of vials and the other party is under the impression they have no other items. But it was RedIion23 who sent the dueling request and they may have contraband. IE runes, a shield, etc. This is just one method of scamming. And as easy as you may think it might be to tell the difference, it's not. Especially to people who are unaware of this. It's a shame people have to learn the hard way."


tl;dr of the scam:
- Scammer sends victim a trade request and then a duel request on an account with a similar name E.G trades with (IlIlIlIl) but sends a duel request with (IllIlIlI)
- Victim trades the first account and they both show 28 vials
- Victim duels the scammers second account and doesn't realize the change in name
- Second account has veng, shield, ancients, etc to win the duel
- skemmed
As you can see in the description of the video he even admits to having an account named Swag x wishe (swag x being the first account) to preform this scam

I never understood the logic behind why Sythe allows scamming but I think people should at least be aware of how and why he's nothing but a disgusting toxic scammer that can't and shouldn't be trusted.

Josh when you realise there are lurers on here luring $10,000 worth of gold a week and luring Sythe members (which actually is against the rules) who don't know to report it maybe you'll stop harassing me for things you claim I have done.

If a mod could change the title of the thread/delete any 'basement is scammer' comments I would appreciate it thank you and have a good day.

 

Scamming in-game in general is against the rules here on Sythe if you are caught for it but when it involves a specific location in the game it's totally fine and there's nothing wrong with it. Very logical

Name sniping in general is against the rules here on Sythe if you are caught for it but when it involves a specific user such as yourself it's totally fine and there's nothing wrong it with. Very logical

 

That's a very broad false accusation coming from the retard duel arena scammer who admitted to watching RSNs and used a nonexistent friend as an excuse for it

 

Well if we're basing scam reports on bullshit accusations I'd like to report Josh for name sniping using these pictures of Bobby Shmurda.

As you can see, there are six pictures. Which is a name I believe Josh sniped.

Please elaborate on "bullshit accusations", are you trying to say that you aren't milotic and you didn't scam Rat James?
