    literally the current US administration is actively funding and supporting ISIL rather than fighting it

    They try to cover this up by saying its "moderate rebels" but every time they give these "moderate rebels" military equipment and training it all ends up in the hands of ISIL a couple of days later. The reality is that there are no "moderate rebels" there are only fundamentalist sunnis trying to setup literally sharia law ("an Islamic state") and what's left of the existing Assad regime. Everyone else has long since left.
