    Aluminum or magnesium sulfate a la form of a "styptic pencil" works fine for me. Makes me not feel any pain from them and supposedly makes them go away sooner. The no pain part is what I like from it.

    Yeah, it will burn so bad, but that's how you know it's working. It dries it out and numbs it for a while. Normally salt water will do the trick, but if you put straight salt on it for 3 or 4 times a day it should go away relatively quickly (depending on the size and deepness of the wound). I use to get them more frequently than not, but seemed to have grown out of it.
