• Anything you weren't banned for but want to confess to now: Since being banned, I've banned evaded - although never with malicious intentions, only to troll certain users now and then. I don't remember every account I've made, but the most established account was @Zeus, and my most recent account, was @Do Not Trade. Again, I've never participated in the market since being banned and my evading accounts were entirely made to shitpost in the spam forum.

Before I start, bear with me. I was banned over two years ago and I will admit now that I do not remember every exact detail of went down. However, I will try my best to give an accurate description of the events that took place back then.

Sometime around the beginning of 2014 there were massive Skype hackings going on due to social engineering Skype agents into resetting passwords/emails and such. Every couple days a prominent market user would suddenly find his or her Skype hacked. After an irl friend of mine got his Skype hacked, I confronted the hacker asking him why he was doing all of this. I later found out the hacker went by the name of Oogabooga (at the time I was not aware of his long and notorious history of scamming on Sythe and other forums). Long story short, he basically socially engineered me by giving my some sob story about how he was broke, living on his own, homeless, etc. which I (and several other users) fell for.

As he pretended to be my friend, I became acquainted with him over time. One day he asked if he could send some money to my Paypal and in exchange I could keep 5%. Since I was doing a lot of moneypak redeeming back then, I thought at first that maybe this was something similar to that. Then more and more funds started to appear and that's when I became aware that these funds were not being obtained legitimately. I was negligent though, and I kept allowing him to use my paypal as proxy for his scams. When a report against me came up, I was not thinking properly at the time. I ended up panicking and denied everything that had happened. Another stupid move on my part which I still regret to this day.

Looking back on it now, although I've never actually scammed anyone ever, I realize what I allowed to happen was a form of indirect scamming - scamming to an extent. If I could go back in time I would have never associated myself with that scumbag sociopath and convicted felon. I have had no contact with them since being banned. Before meeting him my reputation on Sythe was flawless (I had one of the biggest and most successful MM threads at the time, was at $200 donor, had accumulated over 500 vouches) and I threw that all away for nothing. I have not participated in the market in over two years - I have no interest in doing so now, so if I am allowed back I would gladly accept a DnT. All in all, being a part of the community again means much more to me than anything else on this site and thus I am formally and sincerely requesting to be allowed back. What are you requesting? A pardon or a DNT? It's only one at a time.

 

How much money did you funnel through, and how much commission did you keep? Roughly. Do you remember a more precise timeline; as in, for how many months where you funneling money for, and roughly when in that period did you realize something suspicious was going on?

 

@Gracious Ideally I'd like to request a pardon. I'd really like to be given the chance to start on a clean slate. However, if staff find me to be a threat to the site/unworthy of being fully pardoned I'd happily accept a DnT.

@malakadang As aforementioned, he allowed me to keep 5% of everything that was funneled through my Paypal. It wasn't much, but at the time I had just started college and every dollar I made helped out a lot. This is not a justification, just what was going through my mind at the time. Unfortunately I didn't keep any logs or records of every amount he sent to my Paypal, but if I had to estimate it was probably around the $600 ballpark in total.

If I recall correctly, I had let him use my paypal for just around a month. It ceased after my Paypal got limited for various disputed transactions. I realized around the second or third transaction that something suspicious was going on because the 1) the transactions were random amounts (e.g $23.33, $12.20, etc.) and 2) they were immediately disputed. I approached soon after and asked him about it, and thats when he confirmed my suspicious that the money was indeed scammed.

Ordinarily for a pardon, since you took the benefit of the commission, you'd have to reimburse the victims that commission amount. Since the victims are probably unidentifiable, and the amount of commission you received relatively small, I'm not too sure what would be best.

@Dave - I haven't been able to log in in over two years due to the fact that I don't remember where I wrote down my 2fa code. Thus I'm unable to view my ban reason. As far as I can remember, I've been straightforward and honest about the events that led up to my ban, and also my activity on this site post-ban. If you claim there is more to the story than my version of it, please feel free to refresh my memory publicly.

 

After reading the ban reason there's no way you should EVER return to Sythe in any way or form.

 

JohnG did similar things with Oooga, and he is currently not under DNT.
I'd support a DNT.

 

@ staff there are more reasons not listed in his ban reason which are only view able for Upper-Staff, please refrain from voting until all evidence is laid out (@Dave)

 

If you guys want him to be DNT I won't deny it, but I don't think I will ever support a pardon for him - the shit Heads did was bad enough, and furthermore he continued to lie about it and attempt to play dumb instead of owning up to the scumbag shit that he was a part of (and was aware he was a part of).

Regardless, give him DNT if you wish but I will never support a pardon of his.

 

Dave Sythe logic: Scams $250+ on his account BSGPSeller (later gets pardoned for it), supports the pardon of users that have scammed thousands upon thousands in the past, but it so adamantly against me returning to the community. I'm honestly not sure what other "evidence" thats secretly being kept hidden from not just me, but also from the community, thats in the USL but you do realize throughout my whole career Sythe I never directly scammed a single user and profited a total of around $50 in commissions back when I was associated with Oooga right? I already admitted to lying to staff during the shitstorm because frankly I panicked, and I already mentioned I regret everything to this day and if I could go back in time I would have NEVER associated myself with Ooga in the first place.

I find it ironic how you arguably caused more damage to the site than I EVER did, were pardoned (rightfully so), and now you're a completely reformed person and an admin. I used to admire you for your impartiality and unbiased opinions, but you seem to have forgotten your own past. But no need to worry, as long as you're on staff I won't bother requesting a pardon anyways. I thought waiting over two and a half years without any scamming/market related incidents to request a pardon and prove that I'm not the same person I used to be was a long time, but wow maybe I should have waited another two.

@Gracious - Legitimate question: Who are you and how can you say there's no way I should ever return to Sythe in any way or form, when you weren't even present during this fiasco and hadn't even joined Sythe yet??

For the rest of staff who were actually around when I was banned and are now in support of giving me the chance to rejoin the community as a DNT user, I would like to say thank you.

Yes, I did scam in the past, and I outwardly admitted it and came out with it so don't try to use my past to create some type of shadow of yourself and make yourself seem innocent. Just like in the past Heads tries to make someone else "all staff" seem like the bad guys when he's the "innocent angel" who did nothing. Fuck off with that nonsense, you're scum, admit it. @Dave - Thanks for FINALLY listing actual evidence that I've been asking for you to release. I'd be more than happy to address these. But first, I'm not sure why you're acting all butthurt and setting a piss-poor example by resorting to using vulgarity and name calling when you're suppose to be acting like a professional. @Sythe please take note. Is it because I shed light about your past and reminded you of the person you once were?

Back on topic:

For points #1 and #3, I already mentioned on this page and stated how much of a retard I was for being associated with Ooga and letting him use my Paypal to funnel money from his scams into. If you actually think my story is false and that I somehow was responsible for doing all of these Skype hackings myself then smh. Since you have some background in blackhat activity and social engineering I would think you would be able to differentiate and point out the real scumbags like Oooga versus people who like me got tricked and used.

For point #2: That report is bullshit and was an attempt to frame me after I had been banned if I recall correctly. Where is the evidence in that report, or is it just more hearsay?

Point #4: PLEASE by all means, show me on this page where I state that my Paypal was "hacked". Again, calling you out on your bullshit.
