I think candies are the limiting factor anyways, so don't feel bad about using your stardust early if it's for a pokemon that you're not saving up candy for.

Here is my pokemon. Happy I caught an Ekans tonight because I think he's pretty cool. Now I really want a diglet (have seen a few on the tracker near my apartment). Pretty disappointed that I have a friggen bat as my best:

 

nice my best so far is lapras at 643 n my snorlax is 586 or something along those lines everything else is lower then that n i have like 5 pokemons i can evolve n what noit but im still collecting just so i can just use a lucky egg n power up bad.

People are all over all the time on mine, I'd imagine the gyms are shifting around quite a bit at yours. Here most gyms don't stay the same color for more than 2-3 hours before someone else comes and takes them over.

 

lol here gyms get taken over easily especially in parks n stuff there getting taken back n forth all the time n im team instict which its so hard to compete against mystic n team valor cuz its so abudant here
