If it was only threats no reason to perm ban him.

On a side not however i dodged another bullet. I seriously considered buying chicken noodles pure account. His links to UPS and owners assurances of his trust almost made me pull the trigger. I was in talks with him and logged on later only to find another user purchased it. I was upset because i knew i could flip it for more. Just glad i didnt i waited it out and matrix'd another scumbag.

Apparently after trying to resolve things with Video and the victim on skype, he eventually gave up and stopped trying to refund. Shortly after, another account sold by him for a fairly large amount of money (which he also confirmed himself to be original owner of) was also recovered. So yes, you dodged a major bullet lol.

 

Im going to take the time to message the Owner/Manager of UPS. We shared a few words concerning vouch's and chicken noodles trust.

 

His name is no longer on their active threads so I don't think he's with them anymore.

That being said I know they require a deposit in case a worker decides to scam someone so I hope they use that money to reimburse his victims.

 

They are required to repay the victims. Id make a post on sythe or message the manager.

Could somebody tl;dr what 'being a rat' entails and what oakdice did to get banned?

 

To make a long story short, he was snitching on RWTers, i.e. reporting people that RWT to Jagex to get them banned.

 

Why did Alishan scam quit for only like $380?

 

Most likely hacked.

 

To be honest, I thought the exact same when I saw the report, but after not seeing a dispute or anything, I'm pretty wary of the whole thing.

 

He seems to go inactive for months at a time so he may just not have noticed it. It seems all of the posts with the scammer's skype (alishan.gold) had just been edited to include that skype on the day of the scam as well. Also, his website is still up and running http://www.runescapegoldbuy.com and i've not seen any posts about anyone being scammed by it (could just mean nobody's even using it.)

He's also not been active on PB since the beginning of January which if he was trying to scamquit I think he would've already done so there, however he's now restricted and I assume it's due to him being reported here.
