TwC with link to most relevant report

I mean the title basically describes my suggestion. I feel like all awarded TwCs should be clickable, with a link that shows you the most relevant report regarding that user's TwC. It avoids misconceptions and gives an accurate description as to why the user has a TwC in the first place as opposed to the user lying or the unintentional spread of misinformation.

 

This was suggested before; although I do not recall the outcome of it, obvious support.

 

Support, countless reasons, really. Not sure if it's possible until xenforo. Haven't heard of being able to have linkable ranks.

 

I recall this coming up before and receiving support, can't remember why it wasn't implemented.

It certainly is possible. I know that the Sythe Awards miniranks are clickable, so I don't see why a TWC rank wouldn't be able to.

Would give people a wider perspective as well on what could potentially award such a rank and what you can to do avoid being given one.

I don't see the huge issue with it, you have my support.

 

Support. Right now a TWC is a TWC, no link, and for most people inexperienced on the market it would be too much effort to find the actual reason for the TWC being issued. Right now it would mean the newb has to ask the TWC holder why he got his trade with caution, of course, the holder would make it sound better than it is.

With the hyperlink in place, the newb will be able to read the TWC reason. after which he can still ask the TWC holder for his side of the story, in which case the TWC holder is less likely to lie or at least make it harder to put the twc in a good daylight.
If the user is really a legitemate user, he will get the TWC removed eventually.

Support, this is great idea, it gives the random user idea of what the person was banned, rather it be evading or scamming 100m+, I wouldn't say people who have twc should have added it take alot of staff time to find reason a person in past has gotten it for.

Support, a explanation of set users TWC will help users trading a person with a TWC and know exactly why he/she has a TWC.

 

I still support this. I've been TWC'd before and I could have just lied about it, a lot of the people who bought from me during that time didn't even think about checking why I had it.

 

my guess is that this might be tricky if an admin has to manually set each twc to link to a different thread; not sure if this is the case, but i support either way. staff (are supposed to) tag users' profiles with information about the twcs, but only staff can see those notes

 

Exactly. The implementation of my idea would be public and easily accessible, without having to visit the profile. If implemented I wouldn't advise applying links to all TwCs, perhaps either just newer ones or only ones appointed after the implementation.

 

Even if it's difficult to implement I support this 100%. We give out TWC's for a wide array of things, and this should be publicly displayed at a moments noticed if someone wanted to check.

This suggestion makes a lot of sense. Because TWC's are given out for a variety of reasons, people should be able to have easy access to that information before conducting a trade with that user. I'd treat a user I'm trading with who has a TWC for self-vouching completely different than one with blackhat interests, for example.
