Road to a max range tank V2

Hey,

This is an account I've had for a while and only just now thought of creating a progress thread for it. I'm far from maxing out so it shouldn't matter too much. Wish I had started earlier but oh well.

All training is done in NMZ.

How long have you been at it w/ that acc?

 

It was made 6-7 years ago, but I started playing on it 2-3 months ago from scratch (level 3).

 

Can I ask how you got 84 ranged? I'm making a tank currently and I'm only in the beginning stages. Currently trying to get barrows gloves before I get ranged up to 60+

 

Good luck! Is this all hand-done or botted?

I'm currently working on a range tank as well but it'll probably be mainly for PVP so I'm planning on capping at 70 def for a while.

 

Started chinning at 60 range or so, up until 75 range. After that it's all blowpipe in NMZ.

Also barrows gloves aren't really necessary for training. They are great when you want to PK and want to hybrid. Otherwise they are pretty shitty as they offer +1 more range bonus than black vambs. They will serve you well with getting melee stats to 70/70/70 though, and 99 defence. With that said, melee void seems to be better than max strength bonus in NMZ. At least from my own experience.

Seen your thread, gl to you as well! It will all be botted from here on out.

 

I just figured I'd get all the tedious stuff out of the way and then just train all the way to 90+ def and range

I estimate ~a month for 99 Range and Defence. I'm going hard! Hopefully all goes the way I expect.

 

you should get 99 pray, love range tanks with 75-70-99 and 99 prayer are sick

 

damn 2-3 months, that's not bad! How many hours a week you play?

 

Yuck, no thanks Maybe 70+ when they introduce rigour and augury.

I quested b gloves in a week, then I started botting 10 hours+ a day with tribot. I reached the stats needed for fremennik hard diary and varrock elite, and haven't been botting since. Now I'm botting NMZ again with a private Simba script and will hopefully reach my goals again. All in all I don't play much by hand lol!

How much xp an hour did you get training range with blowpipe? And you did it at NMZ right?

 

XP is fairly good!

 

Nice progress so far, and thanks for the help earlier. Must have a lot of confidence in the script to bot so heavily on an account with 1600+ total and all that time invested in it
