How do people train combat skills without raising their HP level?

I've recently gotten back into OSRS and I've seen quite a few accounts for sale with high combat skill levels but proportionately low HP levels. How does this happen?

 

Most people train through Nightmare Zone.

 

There's different methods for each skill, such as splashing for mage, barb fishing for str, etc. Some people also sell guides to glitch/prevent themselves from getting hp exp while training combat also.

 

What kind of stats exactly have you seen? There aren't any good no-hp combat training methods besides maybe PC, so I'd be surprised if someone had invested time in making a low hp build.

 

I've seen high range & low hp specifically. So these methods are for members I'm assuming? The fishing listed above for example.

 

you can train range at the ranging guild without gaining hp, also using cannon doesn't give any hp

My favourite is still alching from 55 Magic to 99, the low combat you get from it is always fun to have.

I got my first 99 on my main back in the day using the archery guild. Good times.

 

Cannon is the best for this.
