Best and Worst ways to Breakup

in person, briefly, and kindly. it worked well enough for me!

 

The only time I would do it over text is if the girl hurt me. Like cheated on me. If she never hurt me I think I would at least owe her a face to face breakup. If I break up with someone on good terms (just didn't work out), I still care about their feels and am going to try my best so that they feel as little pain as possible. I am very selective when I look for a girl though because I am scared of having to breakup aha.

 

Best way; face to face as it's more respectful.

Worse way; over text, it's wrong and shows you've got no respect for that person to even give them the decency of a face to face break up.

 

I had a girlfriend who I was deeply in love with when I was like 18, and she broke up with me over text message and honestly it hurt like hell. I mean, I loved her and would've supported her decision if she had of came to me and told me this and spoke about it in person, but because of doing it over text message just showed how much she really cared and how disrespectful some people can be.

Definitely is the worse thing to do is via text. Especially if you're breaking up with someone who truly cares about you.

Best way is to do it by face.

 

I broke up with one of my ex-girlfriend through a phone call because she was living out of state. It sucked.

The best way to break up is in person.

 

Best way:

In person with careful wording. There is no need to put the other person down or to make them feel attacked. Let the person down easy, but don't leave them wandering, so also let them know the reasons, but in the nicest way possible.


Worst way:

Social Media. I've actually seen this done... Instead of even telling the person, some girl I added on facebook just changed her relationship status and tagged the guy in the comments.



Long distance however would provide an acceptable reason for using social media (in private messages of course) or texting. However, the best possible way would be a phone call with the same rules of thumb as the in-person.
