[Deadman] Unbelivable

So let me just sum up how unbelivable this is on DAY TWO.


So I get it, its deadman, everyone killing everyone.


WHAT I DIDNT EXPECT IS FOR A LEVEL 86(FULL RUNE & DDS) TO LOGIN AL KHALIRD BANK, 1 DDS SPEC ME(HIT A FREAKING 18-17) 1 HIT KOED ME FOR OVER 250K+ EXP IN UNPROTECTED STATS AND 2,000 LOBSTERS.



I legit shit my pants when he logged in, I couldnt believe that legit happened lol.


I mean full rune(had rune chain) and a dds day two with 86 cb?


Unbelievable, I straightup got dropped on my head.

LOL. Just goes to show that people are still willing to no life this game.

Don't feel bad for your loss OP, feel bad for the amount of time this sad kid has probably spent on computer games

 

Lol yeah thats really crazy that people are already that high level with that gear. I wish deadman mode wasnt this risky because I can see a lot of people quitting after they die and lose a bunch of unprotected xp/items.

 

Lmao, I was watching ROW stream today and he got a "random key" and opened a chest with over 1m lol.

 

yeah got piled by the clan the sec I logged in today. Really dumb. Can't play this game fully without a clan, so I think this mode will die soon

 

This is really unfair for people who just started working on their accounts. It's messed up how you lose all of your items when your not skulled.
I really hope they gonna update this.

 

Man, that sucks to hear! What is meant by unprotected stats? can you lose your levels as well?

 

I'm sure they'll make single combat areas to fix this issue soon, so that you can train or skill in single combat areas. They'll be packed, but they'll be there, i imagine.

 

That's deadman Mode for ya XD

 

You lose 50% of your total EXP from every skill on death (i.e. level 99 > level 92 not level 92.5 > level 92.25). You can protect 3 non-combat skills and 2 combat skills from this death penalty though.

 

It's quite an interesting mode.

However, you put the effort into the game and you'll benefit more from it.

 

I'm worried about the longevity of this mode because as others have said I see so many people rage quitting after they get killed lol.

 

Honestly dude this new game mode has already nearly caused me to have a seizure.

 

My interest in it has dived in just 2 days - Can't see it outstaying 07. Feels more like a mini-game for me.

 

yeah. well the main thing for me is I don't play rs 5 hours a day, so I really cant keep up with the people who have a dscim on the 2nd day. Since they can attack me, its alot harder for new players.

Maybe they should make a pk range? to make it difficult, make it ike 50 levels, but currently a lvl 126 can attack a lvl 3 if they wanted to

I've never played Darkscape, but that IS what people refer to as Deadman on here right? lol

 

darkscape isnt deadman..

 

Darkscape is basically RS3's version of Deadman mode. There are some differences though, one of the main ones being that there's no exp penalty upon death in Darkscape.

 

Ohhh I'll have to look into that! I didn't know there was 2 pvp games for RS lol
