Nmz

Looked around abit, but couldn't find a good guide to nmz. Looking to make a main account, but don't want to do to much grinding so I hear it is a good option.

What are the requirements to fully afk it? Does it cost anything? How is it done? XP/hour, etc.

Pretty sure its 70 attack 70 strength 70 defence, also you would wanna make a mtd one, not sure all quest, And guthans / fury / fire cape < if you can. dragon boots combat brace or barrows gloves, warrior ring for sure should be 15k-20k after 90/90/90 to.

 

20k per 6hrs for the host, 250-300k to fix guthans per 15 hours. Xp at lvl 70s is 12k/hr for all cb stats, higher 80s would be 13.5k/hr.

 

You need to complete a few quests before u can go into the Nmz dream too

 

You could always just complete the 5 required quests for guthans and self-host, that way you don't need to pay anyone to get a dream. That means each dream will cost you 6k gp instead of 26k gp.

You need: Vampire Slayer, Haunted Mine, What Lies Below, Lost City and Tree Gnome Village.

You can't complete any other quests where you fight a monster that will appear in NMZ, such as Grand Tree (Black Demon), Monkey Madness (Jungle Demon) etc.

 

I would HIGHLY reccommend self-hosting, very worth it. Essentially follow what aufix said, do those quests. Also your account can be a source of income to host other accs (20k/host = ~1M/hr)

 

If I completed MM for example I can't be a guthans host? Is AFKing guthans really that expensive?

 

If you complete MM and use self-host, the demon will kill you. You need monsters that don't hit hard and accurate so you can heal consistently and stay alive with guthan procs.

 

How much does it cost for guthans afking 70-99 att, str, def? (paying host)

 

Since you only pay 20k for a host you technically profit each time from the points you get from NMZ. The only real costs are the guthans repairs, which is about 200k for 0-100, lasts 15 hours, and then again, that's 15 hours of receiving nmz points, so hard to say

 

After G.E the NMZ points are close to worthless. You need ~30m points for about 5m GP, so it's difficult to profit or break even, especially with guthans which is horrible points per dream afaik.

Guthans repair is about 350k when it's broken, you'd have to calculate yourself after seeing how many points 15 hours will get you. If it gives you 350k gp worth of points, you're g2g.

 

^ Points don't get you much, would just leave them to sit in case you ever need to imbue a ring, or buy some of their other scrolls etc.

 

They're only good for herb boxes, but you can only buy 15 each day. So you can make a profit/break even when guthaning if you're just patient and buy it each day

So I just need those quests to self host? So I am assuming it is fully afkable at 70/70/70 for 6 hours? I'm not to worried about losing money tbh. Also, at the xp/hour that everyone says, for 6 hours/day how long does it take to reach 80/80/80 or 90/90/90, jkust to put it in context.

I recently maxed my second main using nmz guthans and I can say that I slightly profited after repairs from all my points. The repairs will eat you alive if you start off with low str as youll get less points p/hour. I started guthans at 90 str 70 att 70 def and got 99 def with those stats in about 3 weeks I think (id log my acc only before work in the morning so I only did 6 hrs a day daily and 6 hours when I got back so 12 hrs a day daily)

 

repairs also depend on your smith level. So it might be worth it to invest on high smithing on a single account

and yes 70/70/70 you shouldnt die, at least very much. Though xp is slow

It doesn't matter what quests YOU have done unless you want to host.
What you do need is to have completed the quests that the nmz hosts also have. Which are (most of the times) : vampire slayer/what lies below/haunted mine/lost city and tree gnome village.
Then you go to nmz and pay a host about 20k , he'll invite you , make sure it's an easy game mode) and you're in! Probably best to stand in the middle ( however im not 100% positive)

Note: with 70 defence and low att/str you will die a few times. After 80/80/80 or so you shouldn't die anymore.

There should be plenty guides on youtube about this too.
