Scammed by PlayerAuctions - Not sure if correct place to post this? Mod help??

    Hi

So first of all I'd like to apologise for believing the 'hype' and 'feedback' and not using Sythe and going to PA for selling accounts, truly regret this now.

I'll start this off pretty simple.

I was looking to sell a bulk amount of accounts, nice and easy trade transactions, no fuss, no other parties, just upload information and sell.

I bot accounts as a means for simple extra money IRL, I also hand craft specific accounts on what the trend seems to be in game, I'd like to call myself a sophisticated 'gold farmer' in the sense I rarely miss a trend.

For years I've a;ways sold to clans, mostly pure clans, or friends, yes I've had a lot of issues along the way, down around £5,000 but I made enough to get through university in the U.K (£9,000 a term).

I quit Runescape for a little while due to re-homing a few dogs from Battersea, started seeing my money dropping below a level I'd like to be at and decided to re-start what I still thought was a decent market, did my research, saw Sythe reviews Vs PA reviews and went with what I thought was the logical choice and signed up with PA.

Low and behold I churn out 3 mid level pures, an AGS, a Range staker and a all round general pure, easy enough to not lose sleep over if I was selling to generic pure idiots if they tried to scam me.

PA however is a different kind of vile and disgusting vermin, I've sold the accounts, not been paid, been pushed and proded to the point I've now actually filled a claim through a friend in the U.S.A for fraud. PA tried to send me TWO emails containing traces of what can only be described as pathetic viruses, my Penis could do more damage flacid.

They wont pay me, wont refund me, wont credit my account, so I'm wondering is there anything else I can do? ALSO I'd like some advice on the best way of setting up myself to sell accounts on Syhe, best middle men too use etc? I've got over 100 accounts too sell, I understand how Sythe works a lot better now.

Can provide evidence if required, can also be contacted privately by verified PA/Sythe moderators and will provide all video evidence + chat logs.

All I can say is do not use PA, this month the report rate and complain rate has shot up against PA, this is what you get with Chinese based companies I guess.

I can't comment on the PA issue, since I'm not familiar with their account selling/buying systems.

In terms of your potential account selling venture on sythe, considering the amount of accounts you are looking to sell, I would get high enough donator to put a potential buyer at ease. Seeing the amount you make per term I would suggest 1-2x the value you sell the average account for. Also try to get those who buy an account to vouch for you so that your successful trades are documented.

Good luck on the Playerauction issues.

i will never touch PA again. I bought loads of gold from there, lost £105 somehow due to one owner not paying up, and I could never find out where it went, PA were less than helpful and I am 99% sure they hid something up, they told me that order had never been made however my bank statement, which tends not to lie said a different story. Also got scammed from buying an account, they have no real control, and it was ignorant of me to not realise there were still recovery questions but PA account checking service should have seen it, however ofc its been too long and I probably can't get my money back.

maybe contact the PA representative here, don't use their chat service, always promising things that never seem to happen, can picture some chinese people having guns pointed to their heads or some shit, the way it works is so pointless.

PA is retarded imo as far as I can see. I haven't been on the websites because of the bad feelings i get lol from the money I have lost, but the weekly newsletter or whatever seems to say they are selling irl shit now, like wtf? how can they make money off of that. Yep, I would only do business on here

I dislike player auctions with every bone in my body. I sold an account on there it was all smooth and trade was amazing til the user charged back my paypal (reason why I do not use paypal anymore) so I contacted player auctions with this issue. They told me to recover the account which was an obvious so I did but the guy spent so much on rs3 off his own credit card they sided with new owner than me because he spent so much money and had 100% correct information also apparently had ip close to original but he didn't even live near me so I am guessing he proxied to a area near creation time.

I could not recover my account and lost 95$+ which upset me and player auctions litterly told me there was NOTHING they could do and didn't compensate me for my loss through there system. After that I urge all my gaming friends to not go through them

The fact that they'd send you a virus sounds like bullshit, more likely someone spoofing their email.

Think what you want but considering it looked EXACTLY like the chat log email sent when requested, the original arrived five minutes afterwards I was none the wiser, it also contained every.single.word spoken in the chat log at the time also.

And in regards to those of you having issues with paypal - Any DEBIT card is protected by laws in all EU countries so if Paypal don't side with you just contact your bank :), You'll never be able to use Paypal again/bank won't help you out twice so use it when you really need it.

I've started proceedings on regaining the first of the three accounts but no response from Jagex in over 6 hours :/

I just find it incredibly unlikely Playerauctions "scammed you and sent you a virus."

Contact the user "Playerauctions" here on sythe with your order number to have it looked into. I'd bet there is more to the story.

What more is there possibly to explain? I sold three accounts over 3 days, all payments are overdue, first excuse was 'PA forget to send email verification over sale too buyer, please wait 48 hours', second excuse 'please verify Paypal (was also verified already due to me being a verified power seller' now the excuse is Chinese new year , this being 10 minutes before payment is due to be sent out.

They don't reply to emails, I'm now 'surprisingly' unable to connect to live chat, thou if I try from a DUD account in an internet cafe it works fine, if I then log into my account it works until my state name and then both accounts are unable to connect.

I'll recover the accounts, post my evidence online and never use the site again.

Not much I can say about this one lol, I've only used it once and it was to sell an account. I'm legit so everything was fine lol. Really sorry about the loss though. Although, can't say for certain if PA is responsible. If you have the proof that would definitely be good though.

I think there's more to the story, but it could be they screwed you over. Goes for most companies- issues do arise where the innocent are taken advantage of. Pm the user PlayerAuctions if you haven't done so already.

Hard to see how this could be PlayerAuctions fault, I mean I've brought plenty of accounts of there and sold them without any issues. And as Darkest Dream said, doubt PlayerAuctions gave you a virus. Theres always more to a story than it seems.

Though I do feel bad for you for losing your money, but I do think theres more to it then what you're saying.

Finally got paid, $33 short of total amount due to 'the actions you threatened to pursue for non payment'. Already had more suspicious emails coming through from the verified PA email, I use very very good software and I've never had an issue let alone a possible threat pop up until I used PA. Spent three hours trying to get the money I was paid short for back but still banned from live chat so yeah, Fuck PA

If you have enough proof, you'll get refunded one of my friends bought an account he had over 100M of it's own money on it and it got recovered back.
Took them over 2 weeks to refund but they did.

I feel comfortable stating that this thread is a hoax (unless the OP can provide proof). That being said, I would not recommend trading with the OP based on the possibility he is attempting to use a smear campaign to coax people into trading with him directly, thus circumventing the security measured imposed by our platform.

Here is what I know & don't know:

    1. We don't know the OP's PA Username (if there is one in fact)
    2. We don't know the OP's order ID #'s in question (which could be disclosed at no risk)
    3. We don't have copies of said emails/chat transcripts
    4. After Darkest Dream recommend the OP contact me, he did not:

Sythe Admins can confirm, I have not received/deleted any correspondence from the OP.

Logically, if this member genuinely wanted help, he would have contacted me as per other user's suggestion, instead of just trying to dodge.

And the thing which was the biggest joke to me was the following:
Utter nonsense. If a bank, lawyer, or law enforcement authority had contacted us regarding anything, guess who would have known about it? Myself, most certainly. Anyone who has had ANY service from me, knows I would never say something like that, lol. (if we muff up, we own up to it, and do right by the user. I've never acquiesced under threat of litigation "oh geez, you're gonna sue us, here's your money". Come on guys.

OP, Please provide your PA Username & your Order ID #'s.

Getonmylvl. I will admit that I dropped the ball here, and I apologize. You did indeed ask for help (I had to search for it - http://www.sythe.org/13356716-post34.html) and I must have missed this response, as I never followed up.

I will shoot you an email today.

A "sophisticated gold farmer" who has sold for years who is just now finding out about Sythe/PA. Unless it is extremely popular to seller directly to friends or clans, I find this highly suspect.

I don't think you have your story right mate. It is not possible for the buyer to chargeback your PayPal account, since they never have access to it (nor do they send the money directly to you). It is also not possible for a buyer to "proxy" to an IP which is close to the sellers location, since the buyer never has access to your personal information (unless you gave it to them).

Still, I understand that there may be a real issue, and you just aren't remembering it correctly.

Send me your PA name and order ID # and I'll look into it for you.

I responded to your PM on 2/13/2015. You did not provide me with a *real* order ID, nor an existing *real* PA username.

I haven't gotten a response from you mate... and I can't help until you do.
