What do you miss about pre eoc runescape?

i could speak for hours about this, but the main ones for me would be

not having worlds with 50 people online, 20 of which are bots

old clan wars

xp drops when taking part in combat

simplicity of combat/interfaces

old dungeoneering

 

Besides everything, the pking community as a whole would take the cake for me.

So many things I couldn't mention them all I just copied from a text file of mine, everything above was ruined, so i miss those but most of all, combat levels 3-138 and old armor, graphics & weapons. or 2011 graphx with old arm and weaps.

 

126 combat, graphics and combat system.

126 combat was just so iconic back in the day, only need two 99's to be max level now.

2010/11 era
clan wars- used to be packed and large clans fought in it (pure/main clans 100v100)

soul wars- wasn't dead content, although filled with bots you could still be able to play it. now probably there isn't even enough players to start a game in the worlds.

Dungeoneering was at it's prime, chaotics where the best weapons ingame and challenging to get.

Combat system wasn't complicated, and allowed many different types of pking.

Leveling, combat wise it was a challange to be lvl 138, all combat related stats 99. Now one can be 200 cbt and only have 2 99s.

The game wasn't dead, with around 400-600 players each world (2012) it was decent, now on eoc worlds max you'll find is ~90-100 players per world?

Ep system (in my opinion as a pure) was something enjoyable when i was a pure/zerker/summoning tank (3 diff accs) because even if they didn't risk you still had the chance to get some decent loot.

When wildy was released it practically fucked my summoning tank. Lvl 34 with iron titan killing lvl 30s that drop maybe 100 chaos runes? while with the ep system i got loots resulting up to 10m (which was a shitload back then for me)

 

I definitely miss the time before all of these new armors and weapons. I really liked the 2008ish era where bots were common but not so common that you couldn't enjoy the game with other legit players.

I liked the old combat system way more than the current.

old skilling was always my favorite.
The old look of the 99 capes and the mass amounts of people woodcutting, fishing, or mining at one time talking about how their day was.

 

PKing and shield staking and old combat system.

 

2011 up until pre eoc were the best times for me. I especially miss risk pking, clan wars, 138 max cb and the old combat system. Now in rs you wont find more than 100 players on a world at any time in the day, and 85% of those people are bots.

 

I miss animations the most.

New content that stayed interested for several months.
Hoarding items and trading them for rares pre-GE .

 

I do miss staking too, though I lost quite a lot of money from it, having a reasonably fair and predictable system of gambling was nice.

Also, I think that dungeoneering is not challenging anymore which takes the fun away from it.

I also liked when every world was packed. I don't see why jagex doesn't remove some of the worlds? It just costs them extra money AND it harms the user experience
