Vote no to Prestige

There will be a poll for a new highscore system soon. Please vote no. Many players are upset by this. Including some of the top ranks.

Can you at least explain what's going on? I'm only currently playing 07 right now.

 

The people that have worked the hardest for their ranks will be ranked lower than somebody that has gained only a fraction of the experience, but has reset his/her levels once.

 

Maybe those no-lifers will finally quit and do something with their lives

 

they wanted to add a prestige system and make it the main highscore.

which means after you get 1 99 in eg cooking, you can reset it and get a prestige of 1. then you can re train it but it wil ltake double to effort for 99 and reset to get prestige 2.


Basically it means that any maxed account on eoc can suprass all those current top players with 2.5-5B exp.

 

Basically Jagex thinks that the 200m exp cap is not enough, and wants to strip the ranks away from everyone who got 200m exp and reset everything with a 'prestige' system, where you go 1-99 once is prestige 1, 1-99 the second time with double the amount of exp required (26m) = second prestige (total 39m exp), 1-99 a third time with triple the amount of exp required (39m) = 3rd prestige (78m total exp) etc.

Basically it's a giant fuck you to anyone who did any post-99 training in the past decade.

Im sure all of your experience will be put into your prestige piles its just a way to make end game players stay playing longer.

they can always convert the 200M xp into prestiges so they have same ranks dude

any right-minded oldschool players would've quit in 2012 anyways. And if you're beat by someone who's gotten 99 several times then I'd just feel sorry rather than mad.

 

Why can't they just make current xp count towards prestige? For example if you have 150M xp maybe you'll start out at like third prestige? I don't get why they have to fuck people over.

 

I guess it's like the COD series prestige system lol

Hi,

Interesting to see so many players that apparently quit still reading threads about a game that they dislike.

I do think however that if you still play this game, and have undoubtedly noticed the decline in the player base, with so many worlds not even reaching over 100 players, it is important to oppose this update because it will clearly lead to even less activity, and less fun.
