Lots of user's that are banned?

I have been using this website for a while now, but I guess you could say I am new to the forums. anyway, I have only made one trade on sythe so far, and it went perfectly fine. I even went first solely on trust, and the guy gave me what I asked immediately. Now, he is banned from the website. (I think his name was TheKangstar) anyway, now a couple months ago I was trying to trade for an account, but the deal did not go through simply because I didn't have the money at the time, and it was a sketchy. anyway, that user is also now banned, http://www.sythe.org/members/313750-raymond1992.html
and I was looking through his posts and threads and couldn't find out why.

I have seen many users that are banned that claim to have good trades and things. What's up with that, in the recent posts and threads of Raymonds, I didn't really find anything bad. Just wondering. it's a little upsetting thinking that both people I have dealt with on here are now banned, probably for scamming.

 

just ignore it and move on, there's no merit in over analyzing things like your trade history.

 

As stated - just ignore it.
If you think you've seen crazy stuff...what do you think I've seen? I have been here since 2007 and almost everyone I used to trade with is now banned.


Just be thankful they didn't scam you and it was someone else.

 

I would just let it go now the good thing is that you weren't scammed the sad thing is that someone else was.

 

I can guarantee that those users used you to build a base of vouches, so people would have a false sense of trust, and then go first for a bigger trade and said person would scam them.

 

I want to say that 13~ percent of the userbase is banned (an admin is the only one who can provide the actual stats). Most of the 13~ is the same core of users who hack/ban evade on other accounts. The vast majority of users who trade on Sythe have no intentions on scamming.

Anyways, the players as stated are mainly banned for one reason , SCAMMING. I guarantee to you that they will NEVER EVER stop doing that, because it's in their blood, they just can't make money legit so watch out when you trade a newcomer, even me (I came to sythe about 10 - 11 days ago.)

 

It's kinda sad but a surprising percentage of the people you trade will eventually get banned. If you look back at your vouch thread after you've done a lot of trades you'll see what I mean. But like what the people above me said, there's a huge amount of legitimate users on the site to make up for all the illegitimate.

 

Maybe so, but out of the active users the % must be higher..

 

It's a sad but harsh reality. The best we can do is to protect ourselves from those potential scammers by learning their trick and all. Also, using a mm would help reduce such scams seeing that most mm are more experienced In The market and can advice you accordingly.

It seems like they're more people banned than their is who isn't most of the time, like on one of my threads, nearly every post on it the Sythe user is now banned lol, I've not seen as much scamming as such go on though as there used to be last year, let's hope that it stays that way

The first few pages of my vouch thread is from users that are mainly banned. It's what happens over time, they go rogue. Just ignore them and make sure you don't become like them.

At least you never got scammed. That's a good thing. Forget about and move on.
