Games before runescape and after runescape

Question is, what games did you play before runescape? What lead you to runescape?
And if you no longer play then what do you play now?

Before I played runescape I used to play games on flash games websites, after quitting I now play world of Warcraft mainly, but I always seem to compare it to runescape.

I used to always play just free online mini games then I found runescape and started playing. But after runescape I will probably just play Xbox lol

 

Jak and daxter is possibly the greatest game ever. I played this before during and after runescape.

 

Yeah Xbox and ps3, games as stated above aswell as games like assassins creed and bf3- I think as a runescaper I like those sort of games largely just because they are so different to runescape, you cannot make any sort of comparison, and it's nice to play a fps or FIFA on a console rather than pc.

 

I use to play Lords Of Magic, a simple pc game kinda like Starcraft. And Ages of Empires. Now i don't really play any game don't have much time anymore. I just play my ps3 that's about it.

 

I know what you mean with ps3, it seems much more casual than most mmo's so you can just pick up the controller and play for a half hour, even when you don't have much time. Also age of the empires was an awesome game!

 

Before RuneScape I mainly played games on miniclip and counter-strike 1.6 after/during RuneScape I played Call of Duty, Battlefield, Far Cry, Batman Arkham City and many other games.

 

Penguins.. On miniclip then i saw rs is the first game on miniclip decided to giveit a try and nowi play cod fifa012.......

 

Lol, exactly the same here, I came across runescape on miniclip, when I wasn't playing the motherload

 

Before I played PS2 and PS1, before those I had Sega MegaDrive, I still played PS2 in my early years of RS from 2003 to 2008.
Now I sometimes play RS but most of the time play games like R6, FIFA and BF3.

 

playstation one was amazing, the graphics being so poor is what mad the games so good!
and sorry for the noob question but what is R6?

why have i never played this game before

 

I played a game called AdventureQuest in 2005 before finding Runescape a few months later, which i immediately moved onto.

Runescape was the only MMORPG i ever got properly into, quitting a few times and coming back after like a year.

I played Rappelz for a while, but the lag drove me away from it. Also tried Legend of Ares, Guild Wars briefly, Kal Online, just none of them compared to Runescape imo.

But i no longer play, quit a while back.

 

I also briefly played adventure quest, but it sucked. I know what you mean about comparing to runescape, if the game was better or worse it still wasn't runescape

 

I started playing runescape at a pretty young age, 10 or 11 I believe (im 20 now) and before that the only games I played were console games on the N64 and flashgames on neopets lol.

I still play runescape today, but a good amount of years ago I took a break and took up dragon fable. and I often take breaks and play rappelz or games similar to that when I'm bored of RS.

 

What's dragonfable like, compared with rs? hasn't it been around forever?

 

Rainbow Six, it's a tactical FPS.

 

IS it similar to Call of duty or Battle field, is it more online based or campaign?
