Gay marriage shouldn't even be questioned. Long ago we didn't even let the "coloured" drink from our water fountains, and now homophobia. OT You silly silly mormon, incest will never be legal and thank fucking god. As for polygamy it should be in my eyes, if you can find a bunch of women to marry you you should be able to do that. As long as the people involved are happy i see no issue, my only issue with the incest (beyond it being entirely fucked up) is the fact that they may feel entitled to procreate.. that never works out well for the child.

 

I just dont see how other people can challenge another morals and there life. There are so many things that set people apart from one another already. Also on the topic of gays there are a lot of studies out there that prove being gay is actually harmful to health including mental, physical, and life span. Also monogamy is fairly common as well among gays. I don't have a problem with gays but being gay should not be promoted as much as it is in today's society, if you are gay that's fine but to push your beliefs on to other people is just wrong.

I know several people who don't support gay marriages some even in politics and have been bashed in public for not supporting gay marriages. Most do not go against gay marriages due to religion they actually look at the facts of effects on children and health concerns. Obviously the health concerns don't go as far as they do with incest but they are there and the fact the media promotes it as being just as normal as having sex with the opposite gender is wrong.

Do you ACTUALLY FUCKING THINK that if homosexual marriage is legalized everyone is going to change and become homosexual? Same applies to incest and polygamy. Legalization would only help those who ALREADY CHOOSE TO LIVE THAT LIFESTYLE. There is no justification as a religious majority to deny rights to the minority because you "feel" that way. We live in a secular society where religion is (supposed and intended) to be off of the table. Without religion gay rights wouldn't be as big of a problem as they are today.

Polygamy shouldn't be outlawed. If there are willing adults who want to commit themselves to a polygamist relationship then by all means go for it.

We don't give shit to our single parents in society yet that's very harmful to children? Why do we have a double standard when homosexual couples want to have a child that otherwise would live in an orphanage.

years back (a lot of years) incest was the way to go and actually having children with people outside your family was wrong, once marrying people from other families began to become more common and legalized it became common. Also if you actually look at an actual debate which isn't over religion and being gay and actually look at the research behind health concerns you can see it is actually damaging to health to be gay. Maybe america still uses religion as a reason not to support gay marriage which is wrong ,I don't mind gay marriages, the only thing I hate is when it is pushed onto you to change your beliefs.

Also single parents and gay couples are two different things when it comes to parenting and in my opinion from those who I frequently meet on a daily basis I would have to say those who grew up in a single parent household are actually far better off than those who partially grew up with a gay couple as parents.

Also I'm not saying everyone will become homosexual if its legal lol, what I'm saying is it causes children to become confused. A child/ teenager seeks attention and its become quite apparent lately that categorizing yourself as gay actually gets you the attention you seek as a teenager.

I actually messed my words up above and didn't mean to say that, it was meant to be most politicians. I know Americas different but over here and many other countries most debates are over psychology of children.

Also don't assume gays and lesbians always adopt kids out of orphanages or less kids would end up in orphanages because they are actually just as likely to drop a kid at an orphanage as any heterosexual couple. A lot of gay couples especially lesbians actually turn to having their own baby through sperm banks or other means. Don't use the argument of gay couples adopting more than heterosexual couples because they actually don't.

Gay marriage is legal in Canada so not many debates over gay marriages and religion occur anymore its more on the mentality of children and being raised in same sex marriages.

On the topic of polygamy you would need a shit ton of money to keep more than 1 wife happy especially in a westernized society, imagine divorce situations with a couple of 4.

 

Well i have all 4 of my kids with my Husband and everything is turning out for the better, i was raised with 2 days and i turned out just fine. Also a load of my friend grew up with gay parents and our lives are just fine, BTW kids that grow up with 2 parents mom and dad do not turn out better than children with gay parents they are just held at a higher standard by others if you get where im coming from.
