Report/post/reason that got you banned:
I was banned in February 2019 for scamming 430M 07 gold. I fully acknowledge that offence and am not disputing the circumstances of the ban.

Proof of contacting victims for repayment or repayment of victims:
The victim was ultimately repaid in full through an anti-scam. I acknowledge that I did not take the initiative to repay the victim myself, and I understand why that remains a negative part of my history.

No. The 430M scam is the only offence.

Detailed description of the events that took place and why you think we should forgive you:

I want to approach this pardon differently from my previous appeals. I have already apologised for what I did several times, so I don’t want to simply repeat the same words and ask you to take them on faith.

In February 2019, after completing a legitimate transaction for 500M 07, I made the deliberate decision to scam the remaining 430M. There is no justification for that decision. I had an opportunity to complete the transaction honestly and instead chose to put my own short-term gain ahead of another person’s trust. I accept full responsibility for that.

The victim was subsequently repaid through an anti-scam. While I am grateful that the victim ultimately received what was taken from them, I recognise that this does not erase the fact that I was the person who created the situation in the first place.

It has now been more than seven years since the offence. I was 18 when this happened, and I was significantly less mature than I am today. I don’t expect the amount of time that has passed by itself to entitle me to a pardon. What I hope it does demonstrate is that the person who made that decision in 2019 is not representative of how I have conducted myself since.

Since my ban, I have had long-term employment in a client-facing role where trust, handling other people’s assets and maintaining a reputation are fundamental parts of my work. I have also continued to participate in other RS communities and have completed substantial trades without committing another scam or similar offence. I am willing to provide evidence of my employment, vouches or anything else that staff believe would be useful in assessing whether I have genuinely changed.

I also understand that my previous pardons are part of the reason staff may have reservations about granting this one. I have submitted multiple pardons over the years and, despite the previous denials, I have continued to wait and try again rather than attempting to evade my ban or create another Sythe account to circumvent it. I understand that repeated appeals do not prove that I have changed; I am mentioning them only because I want to be completely transparent about my history.

I am not asking staff to forget what happened or pretend that it wasn’t serious. I am asking you to consider the entirety of the time since the offence, including the fact that the victim was repaid, that I have had no further offences that I am aware of, and that I have had years of experience where maintaining trust and dealing honestly with clients has been part of my everyday life.

If I am given another opportunity to participate on Sythe, I understand that trust will not automatically be restored. I would have to earn it through my actions. I am prepared to follow the current rules, use whatever safeguards are required, and accept whatever additional scrutiny or restrictions staff consider appropriate.

I genuinely regret what I did in 2019. If I could go back and complete that transaction again, I would have no hesitation in doing it honestly. I understand why the victim, the staff involved at the time, and members of the community lost trust in me because of my actions.

I am asking for one final opportunity to rebuild that trust.
