Heard from an anonymous source that Bogla got bought by Arcus?
Is this already a known topic or is this rather new? Cause i just heard about it.

Yes, we decided to leave the RS gold selling scene to free up some time to work on other projects that have been neglected. The website was sold for much less than it's worth due to being >twice the size of any other competitors and getting a proper valuation for that is unrealistic. If Arcus didn't want to buy it at the discount we would've likely just closed the shop because we didn't have enough trust in any other gold sellers with our current clientele and didn't want future complications.

Us leaving the scene had nothing to do with the RS ecosystem. In fact, the market always picks up around this time and when the RS scene grows from mobile release market opportunity will likely peak. If Jagex actually follows through with their recent announcements it could contribute to a healthier market as lack of supply leads to higher prices and typically higher profit margins - it would serve as a nice reset for the market like the one raids gave us last year. BoglaGold has access to suppliers that aren't affected by the update so the new management will likely handle any harshness better than others.

As a side note, now would be a good time for other gold shops to try poaching some of our agents, I'm insuring them for up to $10K USD in theft for the next month to give people the confidence to try them out & get comfortable. Gold shops looking for agents likely won't soon get another opportunity to get workers they can trust and already have experience.
