Custom User Titles

This is more of a possibility to restrict DNT users “ ease of access “ to discord servers and websites.
The whole point of a DNT title is to restrict the ease of access to hundreds of services accessible to the website.
Yet a DNT user / none market user can click a custom user title and have access to some of the biggest servers out there.

Suggestion: Restrict the access granted to none registered users to the market place and restrict the access to other users custom user titles to people who are DNT .... if possible. I’m NOT suggesting a Sythe verified user to access the forums just the marketplace the same as DNT.

Remove custom user titles that can have a quick link imbedded into them.

 

I think what you’re trying to say is that DNT users shouldn’t have access to Discord’s. Which I can somewhat agree with. However, removing the embeds from users jus to prevent them from using them isn’t the best course of action.

Even without custom user titles they could still find them for example on google.

I think that the Sythe Discord should utilize a separate system for Dnt / Twc users to separate them from the community / market. But that’s another conversation.

 

I am still sticking with what I had said in our discussion about this in the Sythe discord server.

I think that regardless of how you restrict someone, including DNT's, there will always be a way around that restriction. I can log out to view the market, I can create an account on a VPN and take the TWC but still join the servers (just examples, pls don't hurt me mods).

If you restrict these methods, someone will find another way around it. It could be good, but at the same time it could be a huge waste of time to implement.

DNT's are also not restricted from trading off of Sythe, so who's to say that they didn't get invited by a friend to these discords because I'm sure a lot of business don't operate only on Sythe. You can't really track that very well.

I also disagree with this @MAGZ.
We should not be stopped from attempting to integrate back in to the community. We are also not allowed to trade in any of the Discords already and if we were found to be trading, we'd be banned (I assume).

 

DNT'd users can view and click links on Sythe as guests. Removing their ability to click links on their main accounts is a total waste of time.

 

Not to mention whoever is DNT and actually wanting to pardon correctly will follow the rules.
It’s truly only keeps the honest DNT’d users from evading their DNT.
If that makes sense.

 

I do and do not agree with this.
A few servers I’m a part of having a DNT user in the Sythe discord has helped when you click mutual servers.
Like I said though, only the DNT users who actually want to pardon will respect the rules.
I don’t support taking away embeds.
