Can Jagex view your open applications?

Jagex currently doesn't have anything in their TOS about monitoring things such as these, making it illegal if they did as you didn't agree to it.

BUT, if Jagex did change their TOS and did something of the sort like Blizzard did with WOW, they could read headers of other applications open, and from there have another way of catching you in the act of something wrong.

At the moment, NO, Jagex does not monitor anything but the applet in which you play.

no they can not because that would be considering hacking into your computer. and that is illegal. other than that, if they somehow findout that youve been searching for "runescape hacks" or something like that they might ban you, and if they do then you know they hacked into your computer.

They cant, i checked through their privacy and those forms you ticked without reading when you signed up. Nowhere in there does it say they are permitted to scan your computer.

I know WoW DOES scan your computer for programs running alongside, Runescape doesnt though
