The "War" in Iraq

I dont see any reason to respond if his not even going to read it.

I'll read it, just not respond to it. It just goes back and forth, you say something rash, I disprove it. I'd rather see other people who use real facts make contructive posts.

Don't worry, the responce you're using makes it sound like theres anything you can say to getting shut out like that.

Its funny people on a runescape are talking politics especialy after reading the replies, ones that know little or nothing about the situation. Not saying any one is wrong or right only that some of you show evidence of knowing the minimum needed to post about the specific topic :D

The whole thing was planned from the beginnings, think about it. They take a well known name, and a country with different beliefs and who hate America. They crash it into their own tower, they then have an excuse to invade freely and steel as much oil as that want.

And yeah, who do you think funded alkidah?

I agree, war is stupid sometimes, and it is also avoidable in some cases. But sometimes, you simply must go to war, any good leader should know that. People in america complain about family going to iraqu, while people in iraqu that are amongst constant civil feud, are losing children, brothers, sisters, mothers, and fathers; all innocent people who happen to share a slightly different belief. Maybe the war realy is about freeing the iraqui people. I think we should have invaded iraqu, but we should have been much more prepared.

I think it was planned by the government....just hate to see all those innocent people die like that.

my dads in the war lol

its a bunch of bull! us just want to control iraq and take their oil. all the lies told by the president was conceiving the truth!

They are there for the oil.

Ok, there are no 'weapons of mass destruction'. Gtfo of there.. I feel most sorry for the innocent people who died.

Yes, many people would think that Muslims, especially in Iraq are 'terrorists'. No need to kill INNOCENT people... that really makes me angry. You've already broken down Iraq, what more do you want?

Ok the other country, Saudi Arabia, has one of the most, or THE most oil in the world. Anyway, why haven't they been invaded? Well the Saudi government is really nice to anyone who wants to buy their oil. Also, Saudi Arabia is the central Muslim nation. I'm sure no one would dare to invade their or risk angering all Muslims.

That leaves Iraq next, right? Hmm all this killing just for oil. Kind of sad. Waste of human lives.

Theý actully already have the saudish government on their side, so no reason for them to inade Saudi Arabia.
The people in Saudi Arabia are very much against the US as many other muslim nations, but their government along with alot of the other governments are allies of the US and are suporting them in every possible way.
Saddam was slightly against america because of their suport to the jewish state of israel, but he never at any point threatened to attack the us.

Thing is that the us are replacing every government with diffrend opinions than their own, and yet they keep talking about democratism.

The US is NOT IN IRAQ FOR THE OIL.

Obviously if you think its all about oil you're either so gullible that you'll suck up all the BS the media feeds you or you're just ignorant. According to the official OPEC (Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries) site, Iraq is the **8TH** largest oil producing country, and it makes up LESS THAN **6%** of the worlds overall production. In terms of North America, Iraq makes up LESS THAN 7% of the oil imported into the continent.

(SOURCE: http://www.opec.org/library/Annual%2...eZ/Flowbot.htm and http://www.opec.org/library/Annual%2.../worldmapz.htm)

If the US wanted to lower oil prices, wouldn't we attack someone like Saudi Arabia who has almost 30% of the worlds oil leaving their country?
Why would I be paying MORE for a gallon of gas at the pump if we're doing this all for oil?
Why would we even PAY them for it?
Why would we be spend TRILLIONS of dollars on the war for a country to lock in rising oil prices?

There's no WAY we'll save trillions of dollars from oil imports when all is said and done. WE ARE NOT IN IRAQ FOR THE OIL.

You're WRONG.

The war is a waste of recourses and lifes.

Stupide Bush

I think America shouldn't have invaded Iraq. Yes they probably on the other hand did it just for oil. But I agree that war should stop and they should stop the killing because it hurts more troops and other human beings.:)

i think we should have goten suddam hussain and then left, we shouldnt have just taken 911, but we also shouldnt have dragged this out

there isnt a war in iraq... just a sibling rivalry between Bush and his brother Alala

<3

The war is a waste of recourses and lifes.

Stupide Bush

I REALLY hope you're not from the US, not only because of that creepy Jessica Alba banner of yours and poor English skills, but because you obviously have no IDEA how the US Government works.

THE WAR IS NOT, NOR WAS EVER DECIDED SOLELY ON GEORGE W. BUSH.

Yes, for those of you who are thinking "he's the Commander in Cheif of the Army, of course its his choice!". Well in some ways you're correct. We very well may have not gone into war if Bush hadn't decided to support it. I do want to remind you (and all the other people who soak MSNBC's bullshit like a sponge) that in the Constitution of the United States of America, before it outlines the powers of the Executive Branch (Which includes the President), it talks about this nifty little group called the Legislative Branch. Now, they may sound unimportant, but they have a few powers that could have started the war without the President, stopped the war from happening, and end the war at any time.

"Section 8. The Congress shall have power"...

"To declare war, grant letters of marque and reprisal, and make rules concerning captures on land and water;"

They could have declared war on Iraq even if Bush was extremely against the war.

"To make rules for the government and regulation of the land and naval forces;"

Self Explanitory

"To regulate commerce with foreign nations, and among the several states, and with the Indian tribes;"

No money, no war. We couldn't go in without a budget, nor stay if they cut it off.

Bush was a big part of us going into Iraq, but he isn't all of it. Stop making ignorant statements like "Stupide Bush". It makes the point you make (that we shouldn't have gone into Iraq), which in hindsight I think is a good one (we wouldn't have you ignorant fools whining) sound bad.

And my gosh I've tried big red letters "I think America shouldn't have invaded Iraq. Yes they probably on the other hand did it just for oil. But I agree that war should stop and they should stop the killing because it hurts more troops and other human beings."

READ THE LAST 2 POSTS BEFORE YOURS. In nice big red letters I outline why you're wrong.
