Runescape 3

Seems pretty cool. I'll defiantly be going back to EoC just to check it out upon release and see how much of a change the game has made. After watching this video i'm excited to see what rs3 will be like.

with that said tho, long live rs2007 xD

OT: I still think its a bunch of baloney, just like how they said EOC would be such a success.

 

What happened to my beloved childhood game.

 

They briefly talk about a downloadable client and a tear and share interface. Definitely seems like RS3 will be moving towards a more modernised MMORPG. Will be interesting to see how it turns out for sure.

 

Uh-oh more unnecessary change that will be detrimental to the game.

I'm actually excited for this, don't get me wrong 2007 runescape is great but this isn't going to be like the typical EoC runescape that we have. It'll be a completely different game and I am actually curious to see how it's going to turn out to be.

 

If they divide their player base into three different websites, well, that's asking for a disaster. It seems as if EOC will be incorporated into RS3. I don't think they're redoing levels like they did from classic to RS2. It's a large graphics / systems update.

 

Seems a bit counter productive to introduce this so shortly after introducing 07scape.

Hopefully they DO decide to completely reconfigure skills, and morph EoC into RS3 in the process. I like the point raised above that three player bases would be detrimental because it's true. As I said before hopefully they'll do this right the first time around.

 

Wrong,they're they also announced that your characters will be taken into rs3 too.

 

I'm really looking forward to this, at the end of the day RuneScape is a massive storyline and it needs to continue and continue, expanding with the map, quests and skills as time goes on and on, I just always wonder how long it goes til it one day dies

they have eoc for their ambition and we have our 2007scape to play. everybody is happy

 

Exactly. But yeah lets wait and see where this heads to. You never know with Jagex!

I'm sort of happy the accounts are transferring. Won't need to start from scratch!

 

I hope they will finally update the graphics and switch from click moving to key movements or have the option. I think that would attract a lot more players to the game. Also Install some more Epic bosses.
