Ziggily - 1413M RS3 Gold

She had taken a position with us before, in December 2012, and basically could not meet the hours (she said it was due to her having a job @ Home Depot). This was disappointing, but we filled her position with Syed who ended up being a very reliable person, which was a silver lining.

Fast forward to this past week, she assures me that the new position fits her schedule perfectly. I am a bit reluctant based on her past experience, but decide to give her another chance.

On 10/3/2013 I explain to her about how we sell wholesale gold, and tell her to flip a 1013M pile of EOC. For those who aren't aware, this means buy and sell instantly. This is also something she did in her previous work here in December. I take off for school. I come back, and she tells me that she bought the 1013M and just stored it on her account for over an hour. Then she tells me the 1013M + the 400M she already had was reset. She had just taken 1013M and sat on it for 1 hour+ without even trying to sell it. Then she claims that it POOF disappears??

In December, we also caught her using the employee Paypal account to send herself $100. When we confronted her about this, she claimed it was a mistake (although she never mentioned it until we caught her!). I gave her the benefit of the doubt (mistake!)

Come this week, she no longer shows up to work and is completely avoiding me. I have posted on her Facebook, PM'ed her on Sythe, messaged her Skype, PM'ed her on Facebook. She has continued posting around the forums constantly since failing to show up.

I've had it with this incompetent person, and I want my 1413M back.

 

Alright, what I gather from speaking to Ziggily is this:

Ziggily didn't return to work after the incident because she didn't want to be yelled at again for something outwith her control. She feels that she wasn't treated fairly as an employee and is now being blamed. Reasons being:

• She was chosen to work with you, was ready to start and wasn't contacted until after her shift was supposed to end
• She wasn't given any proper guidance on how to flip, she hadn't done this when she worked with you previously either
• You were fine with taking the loss before, but have now suddenly changed your mind because she no longer wishes to work with you due to the above reasons

For these reasons, she doesn't feel like this is her responsibility and it's down to your own negligence as an employer. She'd also like to say that just because she's ignoring you, it doesn't make her any more guilty.

  This was for a different position, at a different point in time. For the position she was hired for, people were there ready to train her, including myself.
  
  
  Incorrect, Ziggily had been trained on this before, and if you check the Skype conversation you can see where she re-introduces herself to the buyer. This shows she remembers the buyer and has dealt with them before.
  
  
  I had no other choice but to accept the loss if Ziggily was to remain working for us. I based this decision on the fact that she would make up for the loss over time by working. Instead, she disappeared instead of trying to make up for losing $300+. This lost me even more time / money.
  
  
  At best she is grossly incompetent, at worst she stole 1413M. She has yet to respond about sending $100 to herself, waiting to hear what she thinks about that.
  
  She also owes me $20 that she never paid for consulting, which I will definitely need paid to me immediately from her. I mentioned this to her in August, she never bothered to pay.

First I'll touch on the gold that was wiped.

I'd like to start by saying that in any case currently we have absolutely no way to prove whether or not gold was wiped, and under the circumstances (large value flipping) I'd have to give the benefit of the doubt and say that it probably was wiped, unless you have a way to prove otherwise.

That said, in any business in the real world the employer always covers damages on the company's end, unless otherwise stated in a contract. If you have some form of contract where she agrees to pay you for wiped gold, you are entitled to your money back. While contracts do not override Sythe.org rules, some clauses are valid, this being one. If you do not have anything where she agrees to pay for wiped gold, I'd have to hold it at your expense given the dangerous nature of the business you are running.

With regards to the $20 she owes you for "consulting", she is to pay you the $20 immediately.

Any and all further action is in the hands of the Head of Staff (Govind).
