    Yu-Gi-Oh!

I just recently watched through the entire series after seeing it was FREE on Hulu. http://www.hulu.com/yu-gi-oh

Does anyone still play this occasionally? You might be surprised to hear this, but a lot of people in college still enjoy playing the game occasionally (yes it's nerdy but it's fun).

I saw a Sythe tournament used a great Yu-Gi-Oh! website to play on http://www.duelingnetwork.com/.

    I would also highly recommend Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's for the Xbox 360. http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Yu-Gi-Oh!_5D's_Decade_Duels

It's harder to gain cards in the 360 version, as opposed to dueling network where you can use any card that isn't banned instantly. However, the 360 version has a superior engine and also allows for double duels (2v2) and single duels (1v1) on Xbox Live + also has a leaderboard.

I don't play the physical card game anymore, largely because the new cards, especially synchro decks, seem to be incredibly overpowered and cheap. However if you want a challenge and want some nostalgic memories to come flooding in, try 5D's, the AI is incredibly intelligent which makes for a very fun challenge. There are some rage-quitters online, probably because most users are 12, but it's still a fun game. It uses the newer cards, yes, and has a learning curve, yes, but if you're an original Yu-Gi-Oh! card player you will have loads of fun, I guarantee it.

Feel free to Discuss Yu-Gi-Oh! in any form, from the TV Show to the games and links I posted. Please no flaming it though, if you don't like it that's fine, but you don't need to voice that on this thread. Thanks :)

That was same with me, last time I played. I still have my old cards, but seems the newer ones are just overpowered as I said, and make duels end in just a few turns.

But those were the days. I remember when the whole school wanted those god cards lol. Slifer Obelisk and Ra.

You could still play online, it's much more convenient anyway. The problem with dueling network is it's all manual.. way too open to manipulation or cheating. However you can summon a moderator to come watch + boot a cheater out or give final say on what a card effect ACTUALLY is.

Last time I downloaded a Playstation 1 emulator and a Yu-Gi-Oh!: Forbidden Memories rom.
Took me so friggin' long to search for that rom back then.
Still an awesome game.. Hmm, I think I'll try to download it again xD
