Amend the Firecape Rules

Back in the day it was a notorious issue where people would Photoshop it into the message bar, but I think we have progressed.

'Aye to remove this rule:
If you are starting your own Firecape services, you must post at least 1 picture of a completed Fire Cape showing your Sythe username spoken in RS, instead of just typed in the chatbox.

Example:
[Cheapest on Sythe] Gun's Firecape Service [40+ Def][140+ Vouches | $70,000+ Handled]

 

This has to be one of the DUMBEST things i've ever read, why would THEY EVER do something that STUPID!

 

I think this rule is pretty strange, but it stops people without a firecape starting up a service and just scamming the supplies they use for the cape. People are sad, but I think it needs to stay. Thoughts?

 

Would love to see this. It will definitely stop some people pretending that they can get a fc.

He's suggesting that the particular phrase is removed from the rules, rather than enforced.

However, it's really not hurting anything and is more of a precautionary measure if anything, so I don't see the big deal or emphasis on it being removed. Therefore, I can't support this.

 

Denied, it would leave room open for abuse. People should also be reading the stickies so they don't get in the same situation as you with an incorrect picture.
