You've guessed it, yet another new scam.

[Dasshoku]

Well, i signed into msn today and "topvictor" said hi to me, i knew this couldnt be right so i checked his email, everything looked fine, i added [email protected] just to make sure and i had 2. The topvictor speaking to me was a scammer, the way he hid his msn was pretty smart and im guessing a few people will or already have been scammed by scammers using this type of method if not asking for a PM. Here's a picture of what it looked like:

He disguised his MSN by putting dont get fooled by imposters, it's very easy to get scammed so always ask for a PM, preferably the RS User of the MM.

lets start a scammer genocide *maniacal laughter*

[I 1337 I]

Lol this is pretty cruel..

[Fallen Soul]

Obviously a scammer, how would he type a message after his email.......
This is also pretty old you have to go to send other, click send email, then it pops up there real email. Also watch who you are adding look at the email right then and there.

[Mentis]

That's not new.. All he did is multi-line his e-mail address all the way to the bottom, pretending it's a list of impostors.

The last e-mail in his list is his real one.

Pretty obvious to be honest.. Just a new variation to a very old scam.

[Dasshoku]

I just posted this cos some guy was complaining about it, since i have seen a few people get scammed this way.. so sorry..

[zander952]

[Havoc Network]

Who the hell is Topvictor :s

Vic is an official Middleman and an ex-admin, just like the imposter showed in his name.

[Institutionalized]

For somone whose been on Sythe for a long time, you sure are oblivious.

Dasshoku:
This scam isn't new at all.
I'ts been used since the dawn on Runescape cheating, and there have been threads about it already.

[masterkiller]

[Dasshoku]

[Gosu11]

Basically, the only way to prevent an imposter is from getting a PM.

[Music Makes Me Pwn]

[ItsNate]

lol what an idiot, seriously why would he call himself topvictor (display name) should be Vic at least ... ROFL

[Tha Kid]

Lol, this is so old... If you could just max out the whole screen or just put ur mouse on the message bar and then it'll be the e-mail at the end.. That's the most common kind these days

[Tilex]

Okay, we get it; it's old. It's still helpful.
