Your very first landscape - Terragen 101

Planetside Software created in the gone years, a program which was widely anticipated by the art and landscape community. Imagine, with the right skill set, being able to create lifelike images, of landscapes and structures.

Terragen has it all, and through these sets of guides, I'm going to take you through creation of the most basic landscapes, to breathtaking postworked scenes.

However, we must start from the basics, and this guide will take you through a simple, but impressive landscape render of a sunset at the sea.

You must start by downloading Terragen 0.9.43 from Planetside's website.

A simple Google link will take you there, I don't want TDD on my ass for advertising.

Once you have it on your computer, we can begin, registering the product isn't important, because in a later guide, I will teach you to stitch smaller images together, however I'm sure most of you greedy bastard will crack it illegally, however I won't provide the means to doing so.

Let's begin.

Part 1. The GUI.

Every good program of our time, (well most) host a graphical user interface. or a GUI, which allows easy access to parts of the program, and makes most of the tools useful.
