Your thoughts on rs2006.net

This is true, but we've been diligently working with an attorney to avoid any legal controversy. A few JaGeX moderators have come in contact with us (outside of our website, of course) peacefully trying to persuade us to stop our project's production, but doing so at this point would only give in to people's speculation that this project was only for donations. We WILL give our players a quality server to play, so feel free to stop by our website and join the forum while we all await the launch of Pre-Alpha testing.

 

I don't care for it. Honestly, if i'm going to spend all the time leveling since its 1x xp rate I'll just play real runescape.

 

Our project is for the people who don't like RuneScape in it's current state, hence as to why it's a remake of RS as of 2006, not 2012.

 

I have numerous sources which suggest It's not even going to happen. Jagex are fully aware due to the mass of spam advertising of the rsps. They are pretty determined to get rid.

 

It's all in the hands of Jagex TBH

Lol @ Catnipple calling himself an admin/mod and then the server won't be released for another 3 weeks.

I'm hoping it lasts, but, if we do have as many players as Vault says we do, we're Public Enemy #1 in Jagex's eyes.

Anyways, I hope it turns out good. I had 50+ accounts banned on there now but aint even mad. Like 45 of which were 1 word names, and actual words.

 

RS2006 is going to be beasttt

 

It will probably be the best P server out there, if they can make it work. And if Jagex doesn't take them down.

Jagex states they have plans for it and according to catnipple.. they're trying to persuade you to stop..

I'm a little skeptical myself of using it. If jagex decides to take legal action against the site, then everyone using it can be considered liable.. Liable for what? I have no idea but Jagex would find a way

 

It sounds like the most promising RS2 server yet.

 

It'll fail, I've been a Player Moderator since 04, they didn't let other private servers last, they won't let this one either. I'm 99.9% it'll be closed before it even opens.

 

Hopefully it comes out someday.
