The squirrel is fine. The bird feeder is designed so that when the squirrel jumps on, it starts spinning so that it can't get to the food. Eventually, the squirrel lets go. The end result is a slightly dizzy squirel, but nothing more than that.

Google it. It's nothing new. You can find a kajillion videos of spinning squirrels and lots of bird feeders for sale on amazon.

Why don't you go buy one yourself and see if the squirrels find it painful. They seem to love it considering most of the reviews for these bird feeders state that the squirrels keep hopping back on despite being spun off.

Squirrels fall off bird feeders all the time by themselves. Only difference here is they are spinning. What is so painful about being spun in a circle?

Anyways, can't really tell if you're serious or not.
