    You Can't See Glass...

I think that you can see glass, because the only way that you wouldn't be able to see glass is if there is absolutaly no light, but if there is no light, you wouldn't be able to see anything. So i could say that you can't see my house :p

    You Can't See Glass...

Indeed. The only way we see anything is because objects reflect visible light.

But glass having specific physical properties makes working with it a lot easier.

(As opposed to colorless, odorless gasses...)

    You Can't See Glass...

What do you define as being able to see something. Light is reflected off of an object and enters your eye. Glass simply distorts it. Glass has reflective properties, therefore you can see it.

    Thats what I believe.

    You Can't See Glass...

I think glass isnt actually transparent, I believe it just radiates a clear colour, As plants radiate Green throught the UV light and chlorophyll. Glass also radiates Impurities and many possibly all dirt substances. However i believe that the Actual colour of glass would not be transparent.

Transparent doesn't mean you can't see it, it mean's that light shines completely through it. Not that you can't see it...

Glass can be seen because of the impurities like dirt ect on it or the light upon it.

Well i guess i am blind. Becouse NO one can see the glass itself. Only sun light reflection or items that is attached to the glass for an example water, dust or anything at all that you can attach to the glass.

    You can't see glass.

    You Can't See Glass...

you can see some types of glass. For example zircon is glass and you can see it. It just depends on how transparent it is.

    You Can't See Glass...

If we can only see glass due to imperfections, distortions, etc., then doesn't that count as seeing? After all, we cannot see anything but for light bouncing off objects.
