Yao Ming retires from the NBA

Not suprised to see him retire, the injuries were just keeping him out anyways.

Retired too soon, Most dominant center the nba have seen in my opinion. He wasn't just one tall dude, that guy had skills.

 

He was a good and promising player, but his injury proneness has sadly cost him his career. One of the most widely known Chinese sport stars in the world, and also one of the tallest. Hopefully, he will be able to return to fitness somehow in the future, and then play again. Always sad to hear when a good sportsman has to retire due to injury. Wish him all the best for the future.

It's not surprising, injuries plagued his career but that's not his legacy. Yao opened the doorways of basketball to China and surrounding countries. He will be remembered best for that.Off-Topic: In my opinion Greg Oden will be the next news garnering bigman to retire.
