I suppose I'll start updating this occasionally again.

Current stats:


Lol at Invention, I haven't played since it came out and I've recently been working on getting my corrupted ore for DXPW.

Don't worry too much about Invention btw. It's pretty slow and monotonous until 60 or so but after that its an absolute breeze. Plans on going for 90+ anytime soon or mostly focused on one skill?

 

Yes, after 99 Mining & Smithing, I will be working on 90+. Divination will be first, and maybe Runecrafting. Then, I may go with Slayer & Summoning since I can also use augmented weapons for Invention gains.

 

Good plan, Invention will fly by as long as you just constantly use augmented gear. Are Smithing and Mining your main focuses for dxpw? Idk how many charms you have but you could probably knock out some Summoning as well

 

The goal is to do a lot of Invention with Slayer, since I need to max Slayer anyway and I find it pretty fun. For the remaining Invention XP needed for 99, I'll probably be doing GWD. Mining & Smithing are my main goals, yes. I have 95 Mining right now, and will be near 99 before DXPW just from collecting the necessary corrupted ore from Seren stones for 99 Smithing during DXPW. Smithing shouldn't take more than 13 consistent hours of gameplay, so I figure I'll get it done the first day. However, I won't know if I have work that weekend or not (I usually work Fri & Sat nights unfortunately). In any case, those two 99s will be done within the weekend. If I have left over time, chances are I will do some Summoning with the charms that I do have (I have a bit of a collection, I just haven't wanted to buy the necessary items).

By the end of this month, I project myself to have 99 Mining, 99 Smithing, 90 Divination, and maybe 90 Summoning.

 

Thats a solid weekend. Unfortunately for me I'll be out of town that weekend so RIP all my Hunter gains As for summoning supplies, in my experience, prices tend to drop right before dxp as merchers with leftover stock/players who change their mind about what to train will dump their stock. Could just be me getting lucky a few times though xD best of luck, I'll try to keep up with the thread! Hit me up on skype or something if you want a skilling buddy. I'm grinding for skilling pets atm and I tend to get very bored very quickly

 

Aw, that's a bummer. Maybe next time! (I haven't participated in a DXPW in a very long time.) I always thought prices were higher around DXPW times, but maybe right before, they lower back down a bit. I guess I'll have to see. I'll definitely add ya on Skype. Thanks for the support!

I took a long, long break, but I'm back at it again. The last grinds are rolling in.

• 93-94 Smithing (working on this right now, expecting 99 by the end of DXPW)

I finished up 99 Smithing & 99 Smithing this DXPW. Also planning on doing some Thieving since I have some left over time. Maybe hit 90? Will update if anything changes.
