It has been a while since I was banned, roughly six months give or take.
I have noticed that a lot of the staff has changed, some having joined since my dismissal, do I will explain the situation once again so everyone can know the details.
I was banned for leaking of the staff lounge, which I take full responsibility for and admit that it was my wrongdoing. However, it wasn't typical leaking, and it was a misunderstanding on my part.
Sometime late last year, there was a global mod who was periodically taking screenshots of the staff lounge and leaking them to other members in an attempt to undermine other authority figures of the site and have them banned. I was not a part of this scheme in any way.
Later, said mod was found out, and banned along with the other rouge members.
Months later, I did a google search for something with the keyword "sythe" among various other words. I ended up finding a website that contained the leaked screenshots. I was intrigued as I didn't know those leaks existed, and I randomly stumbled upon them.
I ended up posting the link of my google search in the spam forum. Not the direct link of the leaks, just the google search results page. My intentions were to not enrage the mods but just a casual "hey, look what I found." I was banned shortly after.
On the thread I posted, another member claimed I could get banned for the material. I responded with a vulgar phrase directed at the mods if they would ban me over something that seemed so trivial. I sincerely apologize to the current staff who recalls the instance. It was a mistake that I regret.
Once again, I take full responsibility for my actions, however, I hope you understand that my intentions were not to undermine the site. I would also like to apologize to any staff member (former or current) if they were affected by the leaked information, or felt uncomfortable that I raised awareness of the information.
I would like a chance to rejoin the site. I have made some lasting friendships with respectable members who I interact with regularly, and I just enjoyed being party of the community.
