Xour’s Smoking Cessation

Hi guys. I’m quitting smoking.

As of right this second. Dec 5th, 2017 @8:06 AM est.

My plan? Chew mint flavored gum and call myself a pussy ass bitch every time I want a cigarette.

What do I need from you? I need you to post on this thread and tell me that I can do it. Sythe lay home to my only friends and if I don’t have the support of my brothers I won’t succeed.

Will update this thread with tales of my journey.

Day 1- Quit cold turkey (feel really good about it too)

Currently Day 3 a non-smoker

Day 5 - Bought a vape like a sucker.

Why call yourself that negativity and degrading yourself won't help you quit smoking. Set daily goals and reach them. If you smoke a pack of smokes a week one per day set a 1/2 goal a day or something.

 

I’m man enough to get called a pussy ass bitch don’t worry about that mate. Only pussy ass bitches smoke cigarettes as far as I’m concerned.

 

Day 2- I ain’t no pussy ass bitch but my stock of gum is dwindling and I got snippy with some folk but they understand. Still ain’t smoked

No more nicotine man I’ve tried everything it isn’t working. So I’m done cold turkey still ain’t smoked.

Day 3- just woke up still haven’t smoked and I feel greeat

Been eating a lot to curb cravings and the gum helps tremendously tbh. Currently chewing Orbit Clean Mint.

 

Best of luck. Don't get addicted to gum though because too much gum aint good for you aswell.

 

Thanks mate I won’t but thankfully I have a good dentist. Not too fond of gum it’s just the hand to mouth shit and soothes the weird dull aches that I have in my brain.

 

This morning - Day 4 has been pretty hard. Lots of these weird headaches that make me think of cigarettes. But I ain’t no bitch man

 

Day 5 is here, I think the worst is over. Now it’s all psychological. I’m having a party tonight and it will be a true test to stay away from the smoking, especially after some drinks.
