looking at custom interstitial browser challenge pages today (in response to the recent attacks which were able to beat cloudflare's I'm Under Attack Mode)

Then I'll look at post icons and breadcrumbs on xen

one of the percona cluster nodes crashed over night (out of memory I believe)

tweaking the configuration and rebooting the cluster

upgrading to xen 1.5.5a

Apparently xenforo is natively utf8 without actually specifying utf8 in its schema. As a result the attempt to upgrade to 1.5.5a has simply failed. I'm running a full db backup and then I'm going to convert the latin1 tables IT CREATED to utf8 WHICH IT EXPECTS
