    Is Xbox Live related merchandise universal (IE: Can a live membership code be purchased in USA originally and used on an XBL account originated in Canada)

    I believe so, the only thing I'm not sure of is US to EU, but US to Canada should be fine.

    I'm not sure for memberships, but I do know that for MSP they aren't universal. Therefore, if a MSP card was purchased in the USA it wouldn't work for Canada. I would assume that it's the same for memberships but I'm not positive..
