Xavier's money making 101

Ok, so everyone here ( well almost most all) people here play runescape and we all know that the only way to enjoy this game is

to find the rags to the rich. So, here it is! We all know the best way in runescape to make money is quite obviously autoing, but

there are the few of us in witch would rather make the money ourselves we all know what im talking about and this way is

called merchanting (or merching) keep in mind the guide is intended for p2p people ( pay to play= members) so lets say you just

started runescape and your rich so your parents immediately make you a member your as poor as hell and you have absolutely no

idea what to do. to start off you have to make your first 20-30 k you can do this in many ways, doing skills killing things for items

to sell i don't care! this isn't what my guides about go read another one explaining how to make your first money so, you

have your first 30 k and your stumped and you need more money! what you have to do is basically scope around for low prices,

popular things to merchant at 30 k are: rune weapons ie scimmy's ddp's and other things. just buy em while there cheap, wait a

bit ( or sell it right a way ) and bang! you've made yourself a profit! All you have to do from this point is keep an eye on prices,

know your shit, and keep merching your pants off! do this until you have roughly 100k.

Some ideas that were given o me by friends and folk to merch are: bowstrings buy at 150 ea were the spinner is sell for 200 ea at

the bank, (or flax) another great way that has come to my attention is buying in members worlds, selling in free. this tactic

works well if you do it right, for instance, buy a rune scimmy world (6?) sell in a popular free world ie 17. tbh i stay away from

merchanting scimmy just because you cant pull of to much of a profit off of them. other than that theres stil lots of other runes

items you can merch, remember buy members sell in free!

note this is a beginners guide to merchanting i will be makes an intermediate ( merching in 100 ks) and an expert (merching in the

Not too bad, maybe tell them about buying flax and then making into bs and sell for 2x as much.

Yeah I still say it could use some work. So lemme help you..
after you make about 20k, buy a rune scimmy on world 2. Then hop world one, sell for 25k.
Rinse, lather and repeat..

hehe thanks for all the comments, i really do appreciate it. this guide though intended just to give a basic idea of how to merch. my other guides that i'll be writing (my intermediate and expert ones will be more detailed) in those ill give more ideas of what to merch and also just basic tips oh peak times prices ect. 1227 ill be sure to add that in, thanks =) ill add that in now

hmm it is alright but u really only talk about buying rune scimmies in p2p and selling in f2p, which u may need to update cuz u only make a very limited profit and everyone does it. Still would like to see ur advanced guide

yea im planing on writing the intermediate guide tonight, itll include pics refrences and more ideas about merching tbh, i just did this one just to get the idea of writing guides, when i started merchanting i was handed my first 100 k so merchanting was much easier for me =)
