Would it be beneficial to make an announcement stating WW3 and WW2 work, opposed to WWW. I doubt the majority of the community know about this option. Be useful in sight of the recent DDoSing.

 

Oh really? I've been using ww2

 

I suppose but realistically ddosing on this scale isn't that common and normally ww2 and ww3 are slower than www as they have to go through a proxy etc.

 

Just let your friends know.

 

I would be best to switch main proxy IP to the ww1/ww2 only.

I'm aware of 3 proxies and the end server. 2 Proxies are down atm. ww1/ww2 and end server ar eup.

 

I support this idea due to the fact I haven't known about this till reading a few recent post's.

They're alternative servers to use I think, I asked Richard about them some time back and he didn't really advise using them if the main link was down.

 

When the sites being ddosed or down those really don't help because they get knocked down a long with the www

There's only one I know that works during heavy lag and ddoses but its been restricted to staff recently.

 

With that being said, apparently there isn't a point aside from watching the time pass by.
